Eighteen
Cyrus"It's so beautiful here!" I squealed as Noble pulled me closer wrapping his arm around me.
"Not as beautiful as you." He whispered in my ear as I blushed.
"Yes, can we stay babe?" Lani asked Mars as he nodded.
"He lying." I laughed.
"Mind your business lil girl." Mars said as I stuck my tongue out at him.
"Make me."
"Watch I slap you."
"Yeah do it and get put down."Noble mugged him.
"Nigga, I ain't Dom." Mars teased but I didn't find it funny. Dom had seriously hurt Noble and now it's like he never existed. I'll be scared the day Noble comes face to face with him.
"Good for you." Noble shrugged as I kissed his cheek.
"Y'all bugging." D laughed holding Ken as we walked the busy streets of New York at nighttime. It was beautiful here and I wanted to stay forever.
"Yo, let's go to this pizza joint." Grams suggested as he walked hand in hand with Isis.
"Yes, I'm so hungry." I whined.
"That's always." Tizleigh laughed walking beside Syn. I begged Tizleigh to stay in NY with us for the week. She is always working and I needed her here with me.
"Whatever." I laughed. I am now five months pregnant and as soon as we arrived home, I would know what I was having. I was beyond excited. Noble is convinced that we're having a boy but I'm fine as long as our child, boy or girl, is healthy.
We walked into the restaurant that was filled with people. Thankfully, they had a few booths empty and we chose two to accommodate us. Tiz, Isis, Ken, Lani, and I sat at a booth and Noble, Mars, D, Grams, and Syn sat at the booth behind us.
A waiter came over and of course I ordered an appetizer along with my drink and everyone made me feel bad about it.
"It's for the baby." I whined sipping my water and eating a garlic bread.
"Lies. You just eat like that." Ken spoke getting a little too hype for me. Every time she opened her mouth it felt different and not in a good way. Nowadays, my guard was up with her just like any other bitch.
"Leave me alone." I whine putting the bread down and crossing my arms. I know they thought it was funny but my feelings were starting to get hurt. Everytime I eat, they made it a problem.
"Ugh, you're dramatic."
"No you're annoying as fuck, Kenya." I spoke becoming fed up. She always had a problem with anything Cyrus related, but today, I'll have the problem. "Every time I open my fucking mouth you have a fucking problem so wassup?"
"Cy, stop." Lani spoke nervously. Her best friends arguing put her in a weird place. One day she'd have to choose, I just prayed she chose wisely.
"Nope. I'm sick of her."
"Bitch I'm sick of you. You too damn spoiled and it's annoying." She spat. She lucky she was across from me and I was pregnant. Because the regular me wouldn't have been talking this much. My hands would have already connected with her face.
"So you mad because I'm privileged? You're a hater. I'm so sorry that I don't have to work. You're pressed, get over it."
"Whatever. I'm not about to argue with you." She rolled her eyes as we stared each other down. We used to lover each other to no end, we were slowly becoming enemies now.
"Good, don't talk to me at all. I don't like nothing you have to say anyway." I spoke. It was better if we never spoke. She always spoke negatively anyway.
"Fine by me." She spoke sipping on her straw as I winked at her.
"That was petty."
"I don't care, Alania."
"Here we go with the governments. I ain't do you nothing, bitch." Lani laughed.
"I'm sorry." I laughed looking at the boys. They were laughing and joking so much that they hadn't noticed our disagreement. I watched them for a moment longer as our huge pizza arrived. These boys were the loves of my life. I live for them, I'd for them, knowing they'd do the same for me.
The pizza looked so good as I made a snap.
"Mmmm, the big apple bitch. I'm boutta take a bite." I said as everyone laughed besides Ken. When you don't like a bitch, she not even funny no more. We each grabbed a slice as I moaned a little. This pizza was so cheesy and filled with pepperoni, beef, sausage, ham, and bacon. I was so used to Domino's and Pizza Hut that I hadn't realized what I was missing. After my first slice, I indulged into three more pieces. I wasn't hungry, I just really enjoyed the taste of the pizza that I washed down with my water.
"Sis?" Lani questioned devouring some hot wings.
"Yes?"
"Remember when you and Noble fought?" She asked loud enough for the boys to hear as they began to laugh. We got suspended from school for fighting awhile back.
"Bruh." He laughed as I turned in my seat to face him.
"I took second lunch." Mars began laughing. "When they told me I pulled up at Noble house. Nigga didn't apologize either. Thank God Mama Deb came outside cause ole Noble wouldn't be here today."
"You know it ain't no hoe in me and you cannot beat me bro." Noble laughed.
"Nigga, I was there. Mega was trying to jump Noble and he still never backed down." Diante laughed. My brothers always had my back. "Real nigga."
"Fuck you. You would have let them niggas do me in."
"Exactly." D laughed. "That wasn't my business."
"Bitch boy." I laughed.
"Why y'all was fighting anyway?" Syn asked.
"Cause he's an idiot."
"Tell the truth, Cy." Lani laughed.
"Girl who side you on?"
"The right side."
"Aw, the chick likes me." Noble teased Lani.
"Nigga, no. Cyrus was just wrong this time."
"Sure in the fuck was."
"I didn't even do nothing." I laughed.
"Imma tell the story since y'all some liars." Grams announced wiping off his hands of bread crumbs.
"Tell the truth bae." Isis laughed. I cut my eyes at her. She wasn't even there.
"Okay so the day before Noble took sis to the movies and out to eat. The next day Cyrus joe ass in Reggie face smiling, giggling, hugging and shit. Noble was mad."
"Lies."
"Truth. Cause you came all in my face which is why I popped you." I said causing everyone to laugh.
"And you got choked."
"I guess that was fair." I shrugged.
"That shit was so funny cause y'all was in love & was fighting so serious acting like y'all ain't care for each other." Syn laughed. He was being honest. We had feelings that we hid by fussing and fighting. Now, thankfully, we're in a different place.
They began talking about other memories of ours. We were definitely a family. We fuss, we fight, but we love hard as hell. I need them as much as they need me.
