Cyrus
"You look beautiful, Cyrus." My godmother, Sasha called out as I strutted down the steps of my father's home. I was smiling from ear to ear because today I would finally learn whether I was having a girl or a boy.
"Thanks, nanny." I smiled giving her a hug as I made it down the steps. I loved my godmother who was also my father's sister. She always made up for my dad's mistakes and even though it wasn't her place, I love her for never making me feel like I wasn't loved.
"I guess you're team girl huh boo?" She asked as I laughed noticing that she had on all blue. I wore pink from head to toe, literally. Even my hair was pink.
"Of course." I smiled. I was happy with either gender but my heart was set on a girl. A little mini me that I could dress up all the time. Although, if I have a son he would still be fly like his daddy.
"As if we need another Cyrus running around." She teased as I rolled my eyes. Another Cyrus is just what the world needs I thought to myself.
"You're pushing it sis." I said as we shared a laugh before walking towards the patio doors peeping the scene. Everyone had arrived and all the pinks and blues made my head spin. Everyone was dressed in the color they thought that the baby would be, except for Noble who sported a yellow jogging suit. He always dressed so casual but looked so fine.
Tizleigh, Isis, Kenya, my mother, Noble's mother, and my granny all had on pink. Grams, Syn, Mars as well as MJ and Trinity, my Uncle Russell, Lucas, Diante, and even Cruz had on all blue. Team Boy was definitely deep. Noble swore by his yellow stating that he was happy with whatever gender our baby was, but I knew deep down that he wanted a boy.
I walked outside catching everyone's eyes. My dad smiled widely seeing me before engulfing me into a hug as I took in his expensive scent. He always looked and smelled nice.
"You look beautiful baby." He said before kissing my forehead.
"Thanks, daddy. Everything looks beautiful." I smiled as we shared a hug. His whole yard was decorated so beautiful for this big day and I couldn't thank him enough. He has really been showing me a change and I knew that our relationship would only grow from here.
"My girlfriend did all of this." He said referring to Lisa, who had only been official with for six months. He spoke of her a lot but I never got to meet her yet. He was always secretive about his women especially when it came to his kids meeting them because he knew if we didn't like her he would have to let her go.
"Daddy, when can I meet her?" I pouted as he smiled kissing my cheek.
"Soon, baby go enjoy your party." He said before joining Sasha at a table near the pool as I still admired how well my father's backyard was decorated.
"Sis, you look goood!" Lani yelled removing me from my thoughts. I couldn't help but to love this dramatic bitch.
"Thanks nanny." I smiled as she blushed. I knew she'd be a great godmother to my unborn just as much as she was a good friend to me. I greeted Tiz, Ken, and even Isis with hugs and air kisses.
I walked over to where the boys were seated. Noble couldn't keep his eyes off me as he placed his plate of fruits to the side and engulfed me with a hug.
"You look so beautiful mama." He said as I smirked. He had started calling me "mama" a lot lately and since I would soon be someone's mom I grew to love it.
