Oh, crap. A singing competition. Don't tell me Silver's going to....

"You should sign up, dude! Your singing is awesome!" he jumped up and down in excitement. He looked like one of those little Chihuahuas that hop up and down, yipping their heads off.

"No, no, no. I- I don't want to." I stuttered.

"Yeah you do. Look! It's tomorrow night! In the auditorium after school. You can do it. I know you can. I've heard you sing more songs randomly than I can even count!" he was turned around to look at me from pointing at the date on the poster.

"Yeah, I know, but..." I was standing there like an idiot, wringing my hands together.

"Come on! It'll be fun! You won the art talent show in, what, fourth grade?" He looked at me with such big golden eyes. "Please?" He whimpered like a puppy.

    And what did I say?

    Yes.

I told him I would go to the singing competition.

I sat there pondering about this, when suddenly, a blue hedgehog burst out of the doors of the auditorium, startling me out of my thoughts.

He had blue fur, and red shoes with white straps that had gold buckles. He looked at me with surprise in his emerald green eyes. A black hedgehog that looked like his double came out after him. He was black and his spines had red tips. He wore shoes similar to the blue hedgehog's, but they were blue.

"Are you the one that was singing? In there?" the black hedgehog asked immediately.

The blue hedgehog slapped him on the back of the head. "Introduce yourself, you idiot! How many times do I have to tell you?" He snapped.

"Okay, okay! I'll introduce myself! But only if you stop giving me Gib slaps!" The black hedgehog was rubbing his head.

"I'm Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog." the blue one held out his hand. I shook it timidly, shy of both of these guys.

"And I'm Cinos! His double!" the black one piped up. "That was amazing singing! How'd you do that?"

"I, um........." I was debating on whether or not to tell them my secret.

"Go on, Rev! Tell them!" he said. He used my nickname. I don't like my nickname, but I let him use it anyway.

"I have, uh, the ability to, um, auto tune my voice and change it." I said.

"Ha! Please! No one can do that!" Cinos laughed.

"I believe, he can." I said in Sonic's voice.

He turned to Sonic and asked," You do? What nonsense!"

"Dude, that wasn't me. It was him." Sonic said, pointing at my chest.

"Really? Ha! Prove it." he looked at me with cold, ruby red eyes.

"How do you explain this? Silver isn't talking, yet you can hear him as if he were." I said in Silver's voice.

    Cinos' mouth fell open.

Then a green hedgehog came out. He was wearing a red vest, and his shoes were red with white ends striped by black lines.

He had some kind of hair do thing going on on his head. It came up in spikes and drooped over his forehead. He had blue eyes, and a little pouch around his waist.

"Hi, I'm Manic. Manic the Hedgehog." he reach out his hand. I took it timidly and shook it. "I see you've already met my brother and his bothersome double." he said, looking at Cinos.

    Cinos shrugged.

Another blue hedgehog came out of the auditorium. He was blue, with orange tipped spines. He had hiking boots. Red and white hiking boots. He came up to me, shoving his face into mine until our noses grazed each other. I tried to back up, but the wall was behind me.

He glanced down at my quivering tail.

"So.... You're a Hedgefox too, aren't you?" He asked. He showed me his tail, and then he showed me...... his tail. He had two of them.

    "What's a Hedgefox?" I asked meekly.
"When a Hedgehog has a fluffy tail, he or she is considered a Hedgefox." he explained with a smug look on his face.

"Well, I'm considered as a Hedgehog." I snapped, no longer scared of him. "So you can just shut your face!"

Pure anger showed in his caramel brown eyes. He had backed up to show me his tails, and now he came up to me and slammed me back up against the wall, one hand on my throat. I looked up at him with scared gold eyes.

    Uh oh.
