Remember when I said that your cover is the MOST important part of you story?
Well, that's still true.
The SECOND MOST important part are your characters!
Now, I know that writing characters is realllllllllly hard! It's extremely difficult, to be honest.
But, no worries. I'm here to help!
Let's go through the steps of creating your character. In order of importance, of course.
1. Your character's name - You want your character to be unique, don't you? You want this person to stick out like a pimple on your clear baby skin. You want them to be the most interesting and different character you've ever read about in your life, right? Of course you do! So that's why you've got to give them a good name!
Now you can choose the most sensible route and use a name generator or something stupid like that, but that's boooooring. If you want a really unique character you should make up a name using random words. Bonus points if you make up a whole new name by yourself, but don't stop there!
To really go the extra mile make sure your character has the longest name possible. Something no one would bother to remember.
Some examples of good names are:
Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way
Reicheru Ketsuekineko-oni
There are so many more, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here.
Stay tuned for the next part of creating the best characters ever so you can create your best story ever!
