Now this is the last part to making your characters.
What's a character without a personality? Nothing, that is!

If you got the look of your character down already, their personality should be easy. Remember in the last chapter when I said that the more leather and black your character wears the more badass they are? That's still true.

There are only a few personality types you should really pay attention to, you can use these same tropes and stereotypes and they'll always work! Don't even try to be slightly interesting in your character types!

Here are a couple common ones:

>The main, who's simultaneously better than everyone else but also, awkward and quirky!

This character can really fit into any sub-type. They can be emo or nerdy, but one thing always remains: they have to have an inflated ego. These characters will often ridicule other characters in an attempt at comedy. They have to be the underdog but also always succeed no matter the circumstances, even if it doesn't make sense!

>The edgy kind

These characters are exactly as they sound; they're edgy. This type can vary as well. Some who fall under this category often have some type of badly written mental illness that makes them edgy or to really spice it up, they'll have some tragic backstory. Their actions are almost always excused by their mental state or past, despite it not having any basis in reality!

I know there's waaaaay more that can be listed, maybe we'll come back to them in a later chapter!

But, for now, it's time to go! Next chapter we'll start worrying about the plot!
