Ashlyn's P.O.V.

I look down and see I have paws instead of hands. I try to let out a scream, but it just came out as a howl. I saw I had white, almost silver fur. I was pretty big. I had blue eyes so bright they looked like a husky's.

I was so scared. I didn't know what to do. Carter took a step towards me and I took a step back, whimpering. France tried to walk towards me and I took a step back again. "It's okay. I won't hurt you." She cooed with a smile. I let her walk up to me and put her hand on my head. "See your alright."

I tried to talk, but nothing came out. I thought to myself, how do I change back?!

Just think of your human form. A voice said.

Who are you?! I asked, petrified.

My name is Hunter. I am your wolf. The voice said.

I was so scared and confused I stayed quiet.

Now just think of your human form. Think of what you look like. Hunter said.

I started to think about my bright, red hair. My emerald green eyes and my smooth, olive skin. I felt my bones shifting again and I closed my eyes. When I opened them I was human again. I was naked and shivering. I couldn't help myself, I burst into tears.

"Go get her some clothes." France said pulling me to her and hugging me. Carter got up and ran into the house. "Shuuu. It's okay. Your okay now." France said softly. I just kept crying and hugging her. Finally Carter came out with my clothes. He just stood there. I looked at France. She sighed then said to him "She won't change with you watching." He blushed then turned around. I put on the clothes and got up.

My legs felt like jelly. I stumbled then grabbed onto France. I regained my balance then wiped away my tears. I wasn't going to let anything stand in my wa of having a great sixteenth birthday.

Lacey's P.O.V.

I was reaching for the door of my room when I suddenly felt this horrible pain. I screamed at the top of my lungs, but no one was there. I fell down and started shaking. I started to grow fur! My bones started shifting inside my body. I just kept crying and screaming. I was terrified.

It's okay. You don't have to be afraid. A voice said inside my head.

Who are you and why are you inside my head? I choked out.

I'm your wolf. My name is Drew. The voice, I mean Drew said.

Does...Does Ashlyn know? I asked.

Yes. Probably. She said.

Oh. Ashlyn knew and didn't tell me.

No. She didn't know until just now. Drew said

Oh. I said again.

I suddenly felt a shock of pain go through my body. I screamed, but nothing came out. Nothing but a whimper. Whimper? I'm not a dog, I can't whimper. I looked down a nd saw I no longer had hands. I had paws!

I screamed because I was terrified. All of a sudden I saw Ashlyn's friend, Robin. He walked over to me and knelt down. He put his hand on my head and said calming words in a soothing voice. I felt my bones shifting again when I started to think about myself in human form.

When I was back in human form I couldn't help myself. I started to cry. I was sobbing and crying and I was just so confused. Robin just looked at me with sorrow and pity written on his face. "Shuuuu. It's okay. I'm here now and I'm going to help you." Robin said in a soft voice.

That was the last thing I heard before I blacked out.
