"LOUEH HAVE YOU FOUND OUR EAGLE YET?" A tall curly brown haired boy named Harry shouted into the crowd in front of him, addressing his partner in crime, Louis "the Tommo" Tomlinson.
"SHUSH HAROLD! And that's Douglas Pee-tahs to you!" came a reply somewhere to his left, in an exaggerated cartoon accent.
The five boys, Harry (or Harold in this case), Louis, Zayn, Liam, and Niall had been walking for ages around Fantasyland looking for the perfect candidate and were now venturing to the other side of the park to try their luck in Adventureland. Cause as every famous boyband in the existence of humanity knows for a fact, Disneyland is the perfect place to look for a bodyguard replacement.
"But that's such a stupid cover name, can't you pick something less obnoxious?" Harry whined back in an adorable 6-year-old way.
At this, the bingo playing wizard turned his head to face his friend and gave him a cheeky wink before randomly going crossed eyed and making his face look like he was having an epileptic seizure. This scared off pretty much half of the human population surrounding them, who ran away from this bizarre scene as quickly as possible. One of the victims was so stunned they even ran straight into a pole next to the Pirates of the Carribean ride entrance.
"Oh- SORRY ABOUT THAT MATE!"
Louis bellowed over his shoulder, right before smacking straight into a nearby pole himself.
"That Douglas Peters- What a man." Harry swooned sarcastically at the amusing scene, triggering a round of hearty chuckling from Niall, a blonde Irish boy next to him.
"Okay but guys, how long do you think these disguises are going to last? Like just now, I thought I saw someone who looked like they might've recognized us." a slightly anxious voice asked.
"Liam, we're gonna be alright. I think you're just being paranoid." Zayn assured the owner of the voice, a tall guy with light brown hair styled into a quiff, who at this point was having an anxiety attack just about every three seconds.
"I just want to make sure everything goes as planned. I don't wanna get mobbed like the last time."
Zayn gave a sympathetic nod, knowing that the fear of being mobbed wasn't really the fear biting on the edge of Liam's mind. This was a weird time for Liam.
Well, to be completely honest, it was sort of a weird time for all of them. Every day seemed to be even more erratic than the last. But Paul leaving was the start of mayhem for 1D and all the members of the band knew it. So the first thing they set out to do was to find someone to take his place. Or at the very least, provide them with the comforting feeling of nostalgia until summer was over. Maybe it was a ridiculous attempt of bringing things back to the way they once were, but with the way current events were turning out, it seemed like their only hope of restoring the peace for themselves and the fandom.
That and if their new horrid management found them-
"Like I said mate- We're gonna be alright. We're gonna be okay. Okay?"
"Alright then."
