Mystery...

Nightfur's POV:

Its been a few weeks since we got trapped in this world and everyone is getting a little more cheerful with the help of our two new companions, Kotaro and Savannah. Although I dont trust them, they seem like nice people. Emily is enjoying their company, I'll just have to be watchful of their actions.

"Hey, why are you just sitting here like an old geezer and not dancing with them?" asked Okami as she sat down beside me.

"I'm just keeping an eye on them" I said as I gestured towards the pair of wolfs that were dancing and laughing like they've known us for years.

"You do know that they might be wary of our group to, right?" she asked as she rested her head on her knees and looked towards Kotaro, something she only does when she likes someone.

"They dont know we're not from this world and if they find out we might be forced to move some place where we might not get jobs and would starve, right?" she said and looked down

"Yeah but atleast everyone seems to like them, lets hope they dont end up betraying us" I said and looked toward the small campfire in the middle of our campsite

"Hey! Why are you there like you are old or statues come dance with us!" said Jinshy as she grabbed Okami and Emily grabbed my hands and pulled me towards the middle.

As we danced, I noticed Osiris fell asleep besides one of the logs with his sleeping bag closed around his body. Savannah and Kotaro were talking and you could clearly see that they've known each other for a long time.

"Hey Night what's up? You seem worried" said Emily as she looked at me with her beautiful eyes, a worried expression plastered on her beautiful face.

"Im fine" I said and kissed her forehead "Just noticed that its as lively as the day we met, although now, you look more beautiful than ever" I said and I saw her blush before hiding her face in my chest, I made her look at me and kissed her. Then I heard...

"Aaaah! Get a room you two!" Emma screamed teasingly as she saw us

"Then dont look!" I yelled at her but laughed

The rest of the night we spent dancing and teasing each other for the most ridiculous thing we could come up with.

Emily's POV:

'Last night was fun but tonight I'm gonna see where has Okami been running off to in the middle of the night with a different outfit than the one we use for missions, and WHERE in heavens sake did she get it from?'

"Morning!" said Jinshy as she walked towards the riverside where I was trying to fish up breakfast.

"Morning!" I said and smiled at her.

"Have you seen Kotaro and Okami? They aren't with the others" she said as she sat with me.

"I dont know, maybe they went into town. They should be okay, besides i havent seen Okami since late last night after the party" I lied because I saw her when she left dressed in a hood.

"If you see her tell her I need to talk to her, please?" she said with a smile

"Okay!" i said and smiled at her

~~~ Meanwhile in the exit of town ~~~
~~~~ a few hours after midnight ~~~~

As a small hooded figure fought a group of bandits, Kotaro approached them.

"Hey!" he yelled and the figure jumped into a tree.

The bandits were on the floor, the money was gone but a note was left in its stead and it read:

"Dear Bandits:
      
              Next time you steal from innocent people, I wont let you live.

Sincerely;
  🌙The lady of the night⭐"

"Who is she?" said Kotaro as he looked at the fading figure.

Emily was helping Emma make breakfast for everyone alongside Jinshy and Savannah when Nightfur came running towards the girls.

"Emily can I talk to you?" said Night as he breathed heavily.

"Yeah sure!" said Emily and walked away with Night towards the small mountain that looked over the town.

"Whats up?" said Emily a smile was perfectly placed on her face.

"At midnight come here, please" said Nightfur as he grabbed her hand tightly in his and kissed them

"S..sure!" she said a blush dusted her cheeks by the sudden request of her boyfriend.

"Great!, thats all lets go back before they come looking for us" he said and started walking towards the camp with her hand still in his

'Wait! I was gonna see what Okami was up to! Now what do I do?!' Emily thought to herself as she walked besides the excited echidna.
