~ NATALIA'S POV~
"Yay, we're here!" I got out of the car while adjusting my skirt back to its normal position. With that, Elena and I started walking towards the huge, palace looking building with excitement radiating from both of us.
"Hey Nat, since we're at a huge party and all, maybe you'll get to meet the love of your life." Elena blurts out sarcastically with a smirk while looking at me. "Ha ha, very funny Elena. Like I'll actually find 'the love of my life' at all. Hell, you never know! I could end up alone in my own penthouse with about 10 cats to support me!" Elena lets out a small snort at my statement.
We finally make it to the entrance where there's two giant, modern doors greeting us. There are guards surrounding the building, so it's good to know that there won't be any unnecessary disturbances.
"Names?" The security guard asks us, skimming through the list of what I'm assuming are the guests that are supposed to be here. Not wasting any time, Elena answers, "Elena Thompson and Natalia Henderson." The security guard's face brightens with a welcoming grin and is about to let us pass through, but a cold stern voice quickly distracts him.
"Hey." The cold voice snapped as he harshly pushed his way through Elena and I. Who the fuck does he think he is?! A king? Hell no, he must be out of his damn mind if he thinks he can just shove past us like we're nothing!
The security guard quickly straightened up without a hint of slouching in place of his body. His facial expression looked...scared? "Hello Mr. Walker, you may pass through." The guard said with a swift gesture of his hand. It was too late before I could even say anything to him cause he was already walking in.
It's too bad I didn't even get to see what he looked like because he didn't even pay a single glance towards us. Rude much? Seriously, does it hurt to show some common courtesy around here? Sheesh!
It took me a minute to realize that we were already walking through the hall to another set of doors. As we walked closer I could see another two security guards standing on each sides of the fancy double doors. We were close to the party because I could hear the loud pop music blasting from the other side of the doors with faint sounds of people whooping and cheering.
Getting closer to the doors, the guards open them up for us to see what looked like thousands of different celebrities spreaded out everywhere. We both walked fully inside with excitement. I could see various people dancing and grinding on each other, and others gulping down drinks like their life depended on it.
"Elena, no drinking tonight." I warned her with crossed arms.
"Oh come on! It's not a party without drinking, Nat!" She pouted, clearly trying to convince me to let her. I sigh. "Fine. But don't get drunk off your mind or I swear I'll rip your head off."
She laughed and nodded. "Will do! Stay safe babe." She hugged me tightly. "And if any boy tries to touch you in anyway you don't like, you know what to do." She pointed her finger at me. "Yes Elena, now go and have fun!" She nods, and I watch her run straight to the bar. Typical Lena.
Once again I look around to see if I recognize any celebs around here. I keep looking, and see my fellow co workers from Victoria's Secret. "Guess I'll go hang with Rachael and Vivian." I walk towards Rachael and Vivian's table where they were talking. On my way over there, I notice a few lustful stares from different people. It doesn't take a genius to know that they were checking me out, but one stare surprised me.
To my right, I see a gorgeous god with the most mesmerizing blue eyes I've ever seen gazing right at me. I could see his friends were trying to get his attention, but he wouldn't budge. He was emotionless, so I couldn't see a hint of what he was feeling. I focused my eye vision back towards Rachael and Vivian, giving them a smile as I got to their table.
