I groaned at the sound of my annoying alarm. I turn over on my side and open my eyes enough to see that it read 7:30 on my clock. There was no way I was going to get up that early. Especially on a Sunday.
A few minutes after I fell back asleep, there was a small creaking sound made by the door.
"WAKE UP NAT! WAKIE WAKIE WAKIE!!!" Elena jumped on my bed like a kid on Christmas Day.
My eyes still closed I mumble, "Elena if you don't get off me in the next 5 seconds, I'll shave off your precious hair." She gasped.
"You wouldn't!" I then open my eyes and look at her with seriousness. "Oh believe me, I would." She squealed and got off me instantly.
I chuckle and sit up. Rubbing my eyes and yawning, I get up to go to the bathroom. "Hey Lena, I'm thinking of going to visit my family down in Manhattan. Do you want to come?" I ask while turning on the shower.
"Well yeah, of course... But do you think your brother will be there?" Elena asked nervously and I laughed at her.
Elena has always had a huge crush on my brother, Kaden. Although I can't say the same for my brother because ninety percent of the time, I can never tell what he's feeling.
After I shampooed my hair I said, "Why? Do you want me to call him for you? You know, just to make sure he's there." I teased. I heard her grunt from outside the bathroom.
"Shut the hell up, Natalia." I laughed at the embarrassment in her voice. After I took a shower, I went through my closet for a cute but comfy outfit to wear.

I changed into my outfit then quickly put my hair into a cute, messy ponytail. I've decided to not put any makeup on because I was only going to my parents' house.
"Does Kaden ever talk to you about me?" She spoke in a low tone.
We were on our way to Manhattan, New York. During the last 15 minutes we've been in the car, Elena has been asking about Kaden. I sigh. "Elena, just ask him out for the love of god." I turn my head to look at her shaking her head. "He doesn't like me that way, and he never will." She said the last part sadly while looking out the window. I sigh.
"Hey, you never know! Look, I know my brother acts like a stone and a complete asshole, but underneath that act is a huge sweetheart." I assure her. Elena laughs. For the rest of the car ride, it stayed silent. Jeez, I could almost feel the eagerness creeping up on me. It's been awhile since I've last seen my family because I've been so busy lately with modeling.
Ten minutes later, we finally pull up to my parents' mansion.
