Let your eyes be blessed😭😭😭

Nat's POV
"Oh—found your parents, Angel," Jackson whispered in my ear, pointing across the parking lot. I tugged his arm to get him closer to me and he held me in a hug with both of his hands below my butt.

"Are you ready to know the gender of our little bean, Angel?" He asked. I replied by kissing the corner of his lips. Obviously I was ready to know the sex of our little one. More than ready. I also realized Jackson was passed the phase of 'more than ready'. He's gotten a lot more protective over me and wouldn't quit perusing books about pregnancy. He won't let me go anywhere by myself and if I did, I had to have someone accompany me.

He went as far as letting the maids take a rain check on cooking dinner for awhile and started cooking me all kinds nutrient-filled meals. Although I could really get used to the cooking part. Being pregnant certainly has it's pros.

It's been a little over a month now which means I was at sixteen weeks of my pregnancy and according to my doctor, I'm a little bigger than the average pregnant woman at the three in a half months stage.

He pulled away from the embrace and held my hand in his, entwining our fingers together. We both waved to my parents who were presently heading over to us. My mom's excitement radiated off the bouncing in her steps. I don't blame her. This was their first grandchild and we decided together to tell my parents and Jackson's dad to see the gender of the baby.

"I'll just be the first to say... your mother, isn't completely sane right now. She managed to get three hours of sleep. Why? She was so caught up with arranging my grandson's baby shower..." My dad explained, looking highly amused at his wife's stunned articulation.

"Grandson? Dear, who in their right mind told you that it's going to be a boy?" Mom addressed him, playfully smacking him on the arm with the back of her hand. The chances that my parents are teenagers—very high. Wouldn't be so astounded by that at all.

"Mom? Dad? Let's go in?"

"Oh yes! Of course, honey. What are we waiting for?"

I shook my head as we headed towards the building.

Inside, my mom greeted Jackson with one of her bear hugs. Poor him. And after, Jackson held out a hand to my dad which he hesitantly gave a firm shook. I could tell that he was still getting used to the idea of me being with Jack and I couldn't help but appreciate his hard effort.

There was no other patients in here since Jackson 'cordially' requested we'd have the place to ourselves. They were reluctant at first but couldn't avoid the amount of money Jackson had offered the company.

"Hey, Jack?" I asked as we followed the lady down the hall.

"Yes, babe?"

"Did you let your dad know about the appointment?" I was just wondering as his father hadn't exactly had the best end of the holidays fiesta.

The woman led us into a medium-sized room where a very large TV hung amidst the wall. Jackson sighed. "Yeah I let him know about it, and he said he won't be able to make it. But he did say to tell him when the baby shower will be. So I guess it'll be a surprise for my old man." Was I feeling a little sad that Adrian couldn't be here? Indeed, yes I was. Be that as it may, any person who has a heart knows that he probably needs more time alone.

"Okay, that's fine," I responded as the lady had me lay down on the bed.

Both of my parents sat down on the long off-white leather couch and looked completely anxious. "Okay, Natalia. Would you be able to lift up your shirt halfway please?" she asked. I quickly started to feel a rush of adrenaline through my legs. I couldn't wait to know, and Jackson showed that too. He grabbed a hold of my hand and squeezed it as an indication of his fervor.
