Delilah's POV:
"Well that was fun," Logan said as we drove away.
"You had fun?"
"Yeah, didn't you?" he asked looking over at me
"Yeah I did." I said smiling at the new memory.
"Josiah seems like he doesn't totally hate me now," Logan said with an awkward chuckle.
"He never hated you," I said with uncertainty in my voice.
"Yeah but he never really liked me either."
"That's because he didn't know and now he does," I said with a smile really hoping that Josiah liked him.
"Chelsea seemed really nice too."
At the mention of her name my smile faded. I still couldn't trust her. I wasn't sure if it was because I still possibly had feelings for Josiah or if it was because she had broken his heart. Probably a mix of both.
Logan looked over at me and I'm sure he could tell how my expression changed.
"Do you not like her?"
I sighed.
"I just... I don't trust her."
"Why not she seems cool?"
"I don't know. She broke up with him before and he was heartbroken. I mean I've never seen him like that. I guess I'm just afraid that she'll hurt him again!" I explained.
Logan looked at me with understanding in his eyes.
"You really care for him, huh?"
"Well yeah, I mean he's always cared for me and protected me even when I was convinced I didn't need him."
I looked down as memories of the past came back to me.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
I look at him unsure. Was I ready to trust him? I felt like I could but now wasn't the time.
"Maybe another time," I said smirking.
He smiled his sweet smile and returned his attention to the road.
"Okay some other time then?"
"Definitely."
Logan drove me home and he kissed my cheek goodbye which made me blush like crazy.
As soon as I got home I slouched in my couch and turned on the tv. I grabbed my phone and started to scroll through Instagram to see what people were up to. I soon got bored and put my phone beside me.
I heard the familiar sound of my phone meaning that I had gotten a text.
"I'm bored :P - Logan"
I laughed at him it had been about an hour since we saw each other. I couldn't help but smile.
"Lol then do something :P - Delilah"
I texted back.
"Idk what to do - Logan"
After that we were constantly texting each other random nonsense that made me laugh. As we texted he asked me to go out with him again on the weekend so I agreed. After we said our goodbyes I thought back to Josiah.
I wonder if he really did like Logan. I hope that he did. I mean he did say that he'd give Logan a chance. It'd make things so much easier if he does. I just don't know what was up with him. He would totally snap whenever Logan was involved. It was so weird. He seemed pretty chill while on the date. I could tell that he is warming up to Logan. I really wish he does because Logan is great and nice.
I shut my eyes and went up my room to get ready for bed.
