Secret Help

Jack's POV:
As I sat in fright at the man with the weird metal object, Mark put his arm in front of me and his whole body. "I won't let you hurt Jack." The man looked at the object in his hand and looked back chuckling. "I'm not gonna hurt him, we're just gonna do excitements on him." Mark refused to get out the way. "So, you won't surrender huh, well I have other ways." He started hitting the car, breaking the windows and breaking everything around it. I covered my head and Mark held onto me for dear life. Then,  Mark reached over for my door and opened it. We fell out and then he picked me up and started running to what I assume is the college. I looked beck and saw the man whistling and a bunch of other men in black suits came running towards us.  Mark was getting really tired because his breath is coming in short pants. I grabbed onto his shirt and looked at him. "Mark,  we're far enough,  you need to breath" As i said that,  he looked down at me and stopped.  He fell down still carrying me and started to take deep breaths. I started patting his back for him to calm a bit. He looked calmer and had caught all his breath and then looked at me and smiled. "I'm just making sure nobody gets you" I smiled and then I heard someone yelling instructions.  Mark picked me up again and started running as fast as he could.

Mark's POV:
As I started running, I heard the people coming closer and they were louder and seemed very angry. I ran until I got an idea. I ran into an alley way and stood there in the dark. The people suddenly passed by quickly and without noticing anything. I sighed and put Jack down and got out my phone. I knew we needed some help,  so I called the only person who could help. I started dialing the phone number and started waiting for him to pick up. "Hello?" "Felix,I need your help." "Alright,  whatcha need?" "I need you to come pick us up,  you know that,um,  coffee shop on main?" "Yeah, I'm familiar with it." "That's where we are,come get us." "No problem Mark,  I'll be there." I hung up and helped Jack up. He still wasn't used to walking,  so I have to help. I wrapped his arm around my neck and held onto his waist as I started walking him towards the coffee shop. We got in and sat in a booth that was far from windows. Jack looked nervous,  and I couldn't blame him, we just got chased by some government sides. We relaxed and I ordered us coffee.  As we were almost finished, a familiar dirty blonde came in with two other familiar figures.  They saw us and ran over sitting next to us. "What's going on bro,  where's your car?" "Back at the beach." "Why?" "Listen, a question is,  why did you bring Bob and Wade?" Bob clapped his hands and started looking at me. "Because, we also wanted to know what was happening." "Well, we can explain,  in the car." I payed for me and Jack's coffee and we a all start walking to the car. Me and Jack got in the back with Wade and Bob and Felix were in the front.  It was quiet until Bob started asking. "So,  why is your car back at the beach?" "Well, there was this person with a crowbar,  and he started breaking all the windows and tires. We escaped thankfully and now I can't get it back." Then Wade joined in for questions. "Why'd they wreck your car?" "Because" I looked down and then looked at Jack.  He nodded and I sighed. "Because, they wanted Jack." And finally, Felix joined the questions. "But,  why Jack?" I hesitated and looked down. They all must think he's a bad influence or something.  I started to sweat and look at Jack.  He was looking down too and he looked embarrassed a bit. I was about to say an excuse, but then I heard Jack. "It's because I'm a mermaid."

Jack's POV:
"It's because I'm a mermaid." As I said that,  the car suddenly stopped and everybody was dead quiet. "Y- you're a what?" Bob said. "I- i- i'm a- a- a mermaid." I had a feeling they would be shocked but I was tired of waiting.  Then Mark grabbed my hand and started to talk. "Yes,  he's a mermaid. I thought you guys would remember him,  you guys met him when we were young." Felix started the car again and looked back at the road. "Is that why you keep going to the beach in the morning,  because he's there?" Mark nodded his head and blushed a bit. "Listen, I know this is too much to handle,  but right now, we need your help." Wade looked at us and started to pat Mark's back. "Dude, that's actually awesome. We'll help you guys, don't worry." Me and Mark started to smile and look at each other. "Yeah bro,  we'll help you, but could we see if Jack's lying or not." "I- i- i'll be happy to s- show you guys." As I said that, we got to the place and we all filed out of the car. Mark picked me up and the guys started awwwing at us. "Jack hasn't got the concept of walking yet." We started walking to the room that Mark and Felix sleep in and we all got comfortable on the floor.  Then, the guys started to ask if I could turn mermaid for them. "Well, I- i could but,I can't unless I am in water." When I said that Felix ran into the bathroom and I heard him running water. Mark,Bob,  and Wade started to giggle a bit and Felix came back out. "I ran a bath for you Jack,now could you show us." I laughed at this man's silly antics and I started to try and stand up. Mark helped and we got into the bathroom. The guys were all looking very curiously as I got in the water.  My tail started forming and I started waving it around to show them. They all stood in awe as they looked at me. "Woah, that's cool." "Yeah,  that's so cool." Then sat by the tub and ruffle my hair. "So,  will you guys keep a secret?" "Are you kidding?  This is awesome,  of course." "Yeah,  you can count on us." We smiled as they all made the promise to keep our secret safe.
