When the text turns bold, start the video and keep reading! I've tried to make this a musical-type thing. Isn't technology just wonderful?

Dave finished his breakfast quickly and returned for seconds. Upon arrival, he realized John wasn't eating, just picking absent-mindedly at his food.
"What's up?" Dave asked, putting his plate on the table.
"What? Oh, uh... Nothing much." John replied. He seemed to be staring straight ahead.
Dave followed his eyes and saw what he was looking at. A certain blue-blooded troll sitting at a corner table, drinking some kind of hot drink from a red mug and reading a thick book that resembled a journal. Vriska Serket.
He turned to John. "Hey, why don't you go over and talk to her?" he asked. John jumped and scratched his head.
"Uh, but she's so... Intimidating."
"And pretty. Go on! You won't get far mooning over her like some lovesick puppy!"
"But Dave..."
Dave stopped John and said, "Hey, it was the same for me and Jade. Go talk to her, break the ice, buy her a drink, boom! You're set!"
"Well... I dunno. Jade isn't all that intimidating."
Dave got up from the table. "Let me show you." He smirked.

Whoop whoop! Bold text!

Dave put a dime in the jukebox near the table and chose a song. He got up onto the centre of the lazy susan where the statue had been removed because Gamzee had threatened to sue. All eyes were on him, including Terezi's for some reason.
"You're nobody till somebody loves you," he sang, gesturing at John, who was blushing wildly.
"You're nobody till somebody cares." Vriska looked up from her book and twitched her nose at Dave.
"You may be king, you may possess the world, and it's gold," Dave continued, turning to Vriska.
"But gold won't bring you happiness when you're growing old." Eridan guffawed.
"The world still is the same, you never changed it," Dave jumped off the table.
"As sure as the stars shine above," He kicked Eridan hard in the gut.
"But you're nobody till somebody loves you, so find yourself somebody to love."
Terezi and Latula started doing what resembled a square dance, and Gamzee ran around the room like a crazed chipmunk.
Eridan scowled, made a rude gesture at everyone and left, still doubled over.
Dave held his hand out to Vriska, who took it, looking at John and blushing deep blue.
She allowed herself to be led over to John's table and sat down next to him.
"Hi." She said shyly.
"Hi." He replied.
Dave got back on the table and spun around on the glorified manhole cover.
Karkat came in, dressed in his usual bellhop attire and took Terezi's hand.
They started dancing together, Terezi utterly confused and stepping on Karkat's feet. Latula cackled and went to clean up the mess in the kitchen.
John looked at Terezi licking Karkat's face and him holding her tight as they twirled around the dining room turned to Vriska.
"May I have this dance?" He asked softly and held out his hand, afraid that she would reject.
"Of course!" She giggled, and took his hand to lead him to the dancefloor.
Dave stopped spinning and was now very tipsy, but continued to sing.
"The world still is the same, you never changed it,"
"As sure as the stars shine above." John sang, now dancing with Vriska.
"But you're nobody till somebody loves you," He continued.
"So find yourself somebody to love." Dave finished, grinning madly.
Karkat hugged Terezi tightly and she let out a terrifying cackle, swinging her cane all over the damn place.
John and Vriska returned to John's table and started an awkward conversation. Dave hopped off the lazy susan and came over.
"I'll leave you two lovebirds to get better acquainted now." he said, clearing his plate off the table.
John grabbed Dave's hand as he turned away and whispered in Dave's ear, "Thanks, dude. I owe you one." Dave smiled and left them.
Gamzee was trying to get chips out of the jukebox, which he had mistaken for a very loud vending machine. He smacked the buttons and "Harlequin" started playing very loudly. He honked and started a breakdancing contest with Terezi, while Dave joined Karkat to watch them, chuckling softly to themselves.
