Hermione could tell that everyone was surprised and not going to forget what happened at supper for a while.
She ate with slytherins over the weekend. It wasn't as bad as she thought it would be, and of course there was always that one kid that called her a mudblood, but Malfoy always defended her and protected her, and she was very happy.

It was Monday morning and everyone was planning to go to hogsmeade for breakfast.
She got dressed into her robes and headed downstairs.
She waited for Draco by the front gates.
When he finally got there him and hermione intertwined their fingers and started walking to hogsmead.
