Chapter 18

After Hermione got dressed, she headed down to the Great Hall. It wasn't hard to find Draco considering the fact that he's always around the same group of people.

McGonagal eyed Hermione as she walked over to Draco's table.

"Hey, you, what took you so long?" Draco asked as Hermione sat down next to him.

"Sorry, I was talking to Luna," Hermione said.

"Oh isn't she that really weird, crazy girl in you house?" Goyle asked from across the table.

"She's not crazy! She....um.....she's special." Hermione said.

She heard Draco laugh beside her. She looked at him and smiled. Then he looked down at her hand and intertwined their fingers.

"You two make me sick," Crabbe says pretending to gag.

"Your just jealous that you can't get a smart and beautiful girl like Hermione." Draco said.

Hermione started to laugh as Crabbe just turned away after giving Malfoy a 'I hate you' look.

Just then Hermione seen Ron and Harry walk in. 

Ron walked by glaring at Malfoy and Hermione. Madam Pumpfry clearly did heal Ron's lip. He still had a gash on his lower lip.

"Dang you really can punch. Weasley looks even worse than he usually does." Draco says whispering in Hermione's ear.

"Hey what happened to Weasley?" Tracey asked from beside Hermione.

Draco leaned forward, "Hermione punched Weasley hard this morning before I got to her tower."

Everyone looked at Hermione surprised.

"You really did that to one of you best friends?" Daphne asked.

"I wouldn't call him one of my best friends anymore." Hermione says frowning, and she could feel tension in the air.

"Hey, Hermione he crossed the line, he shouldn't have kissed you, knowing you and Draco were together." Daphne said

"Yeah, I guess," Hermione said giving her a fake smile.
