Rileys pov:
I wake up and check my phone
Unknown number:omygod is she actually still here?thought she would have gone by now!
Tears threaten to spill but I blink them away. I get out of bed and check the covers.blood. What else did I expect. I quickly pulled back the duvet so my mom wouldn't see. I went into the bathroom,showered,got dressed and filled my pants with loads of toilet paper. I walk down stairs and grab my bag. I got to walk out the door when my mom says
"Aren't you going to eat breakfast sweetie?"
I thought about it. If I ate breakfast I would get even bigger
"No thankyou I have to get going to meet Maya early at school"
I bit my lip to stop me crying. I hate lying to my mom. But if I told her the truth she would realise I was as useless as everyone said I was.
"Ok hunni,be careful"
"I always will" I siad my voice cracking. I knew she heard it
"Riley "she said as I left the apartment
But I shut the door before she had a chance to speak
