Yoongi and Jungkook were sitting eating a romantic dinner at a restaurant. They were enjoying each others presence, just laughing and talking. It was their one year anniversary as a couple and they liked each other just as much as they did when they met.

"Here try this." Yoongi said and moved his hand so Jungkook could eat it. Jungkook opened his mouth and ate it.

"Hm that's really good." Jungkook said and nodded. As they were almost done Yoongi let his hand slide over the table to grab Jungkook's hand, making Jungkook look into his eyes.

"Babe you know how much I love you right? Because I do love you so much." Yoongi said which formed a little smile on Jungkook's lips.

"I know." Jungkook said "And I love you so much too." Yoongi smiled at Jungkook before he took his hand back.

"I just need to go to the bathroom and I'll pay and then we can go home. Sounds good?" Yoongi asked.

"Sounds good." Jungkook answered. Yoongi stood up and left. Jungkook stood up too and put his jacket on when a guy approched him.

"Hey that was Yoongi you were with right?" The guy said and Jungkook narrowed his eyes slightly.

"Yes. He's my boyfriend." Jungkook answered.

"Well hi new boyfriend, I'm Yoongi's ex-boyfriend." The guy said and crossed his arms like Jungkook had done something wrong. "How old are you? You look like a kid."

"I'm 19, I'm turning 20 this year." Jungkook answered a bit overwhelmed by the sudden turn of events.

"So a kid. You see I'm older than Yoongi because he wanted a mature boyfriend. You're not good enough for him, he'll soon figure that out." The guy said.

"Well we've been together for a year so either you're saying Yoongi is stupid or is not true." Jungkook said as he was over the shock. The guy laughed slightly and leaned in.

"We were together for 3 years before I broke up with him. You haven't replaced me, you're just temporary." He said in a low and nasty tone.

"For a guy who broke up with him, you sure seem like you regret it." Jungkook said back, not caring to be polite.

"You know what kid Yoongi will realise just how stupid you are and he'll be crawling back to me and I'll let him. I'll kiss him and hug him do everything he likes and I'll do all of that just for you." The guy said. "You mean nothing to Yoongi, you're just a game." Jungkook could feel himself getting upset by the situation, who exactly was this guy thinking, he could treat him like that but the worst was, what if he was right? What if Yoongi would leave him because he became too immature. Jungkook was just about to answer when Yoongi came over to them and put an arm around Jungkook's waist pulling him close.

"I thought that was you." Yoongi said in a cold voice. "What are you doing?"

"Nothing just talking to your boyfriend." The guy said and gave a fake smile. "Have a good evening." He said and left.

"Are you okay?" Yoongi turned to Jungkook.

"Yeah I'm fine." Jungkook said but it was hard to ignore the sinking feeling in his stomach. Yoongi grabbed his coat and they went up to pay. On their way out Yoongi grabbed Jungkook's hand. Yoongi drove home, there wasn't many words exchanged as Jungkook was lost in his thoughts. When they came inside Yoongi's apartment, they sat down on the couch. Jungkook still didn't speak and Yoongi were growing worried. He moved close to Jungkook.

"Hey babe. Jungkook." Yoongi said trying to get his attention, he grabbed his hand and Jungkook looked at him "What's wrong? What did he really say to you?" Jungkook sighed before turning his body towards Yoongi.

"He said that I'm just temporary and that you want someone who is mature and I'm not. That he's older than me and I'm just a kid." Jungkook said "He said that I mean nothing to you, I'm just a game and that I'm not good enough for you." Jungkook didn't want to cry but he couldn't help the few tears that escaped his eyes.

"And you believe him?" Yoongi asked.

"I don't know." Jungkook said and looked down.

"Jungkook don't believe him." Yoongi said and cared his cheek.

"What if he's right?" Jungkook said.

"Babe a life without you is a life full of pain." Yoongi said and meant every word. "I've been with you for a year and that year is much better than the 3 years I spend with him." Yoongi said.

"If it was bad why didn't you break up with him?" Jungkook asked.

"I did. I thought I was happy with him and I was for a long time but then I realised one day that he had changed and I didn't like the person he had become. He started smoking, hanging out with these sketchy guys, he once broke into someone house and stole from them. I told him to get a grib or I would break up with him. He begged me not to but in the end I did. He called me a lot of nasty names but I took my things and left." Yoongi explained.

"He said he broke up with you." Jungkook said confused.

"He was lying. Kook you saw how he was tonight, would I really want to be with such person?" Yoongi said.

"No I guess not." Jungkook said "But that dosn't change the fact that what if one day you wake up and realise I'm not good enough for you, that I'm immature? What then?" Jungkook said still worried.

"Let me tell you something, I'm not good with showing my feelings but I will try for you." Yoongi grabbed Jungkook's other hand too so he was holding them both. "Babe I love you, more than you'll ever know. I know there's four years between us but is nothing, plus age dosn't have much of a say if you're mature or not. You can be sixteen and be as mature as someone who's thirty. You are mature but that's not why I love you. I love you because of the way you smile and laugh. I love you because of the way you look at me. I love you because you're not scared of anything. I love you because you're not afraid to talk back. I love you because you get shy sometimes. I love you because of the way you sing along to songs. I love you because of the way you dance, just because you feel like it. I love you because you're you. You don't mean nothing to me, you mean everything to me and even if you were a game, I would gladly lose if that means growing old with you." Jungkook got tears in his eyes as he said all those words.

"Nobody ever said something so sweet to me." Jungkook said. He let go of Yoongi's hands and put his arms around his neck to hug him. "Thank you babe."

"I mean it Jungkook, don't ever forget that." Yoongi said. Jungkook pulled back and looked at Yoongi.

"I won't." Jungkook answered and leaned into kiss his boyfriend. "I love you so so so much." Jungkook said when they pulled away.

"I know." Yoongi said and smiled. "Now let me see that smile I love and let's watch that movie, we've decided on and let the anniversary continue." Jungkook smiled which made Yoongi smile too. A few minuts later they were cuddled up on the couch watching the movie. Jungkook did really feel much better and kept kissing Yoongi on the cheek or hand everytime he felt grateful. Yoongi didn't mind at all, he would smile a little everytime. Their anniversary ended on a perfect note with them enjoying each others bodies and Jungkook falling alseep in Yoongi's arms.
