Veronica is a Bitch

I was walking through the pack village when a group of girls walked up. They looked the same age as James.

"Hello." I said and smiled at them.

"Look, I don't care if you're the Luna or his mate. That position is rightfully mine."

The one in front with auburn hair growled. She had stormy grey eyes. She was a bit taller than I.

"Excuse me but who are you?" I asked.

"Oh so he hasn't told you?" She laughed. "I'm his girlfriend."

My wolf growled.

"What?" I said coldly.

"Yep. Tell him Veronica says she misses him." She said sweetly and then left.

I turned and ran towards his office. I slammed the door open and three heads turned towards me. Gavin, Jacob, and James.

"Dismissed." James said.

Gavin and Jacob rushed out. I looked at James and glared.

"Veronica says she misses you." I spat out.

That caught his attention.

"What did she tell you?"

"You seem to have forgotten to tell your mate THAT YOU HAVE A FUCKING GIRLFRIEND!" I screamed.

I was beyond pissed and trust me you don't want me that furious.

He looked confused.

"Girlfriend?"

"She seemed pretty determined when she said that the position of Luna was rightfully hers." I growled. "You know what, James?"

"Breanna." He walked over to me.

"I don't fucking care. Go have great, fake sex with your GIRLFRIEND because I'm out. There's a reason I wasn't too fond about finding my mate and you know why but you don't know what I did to feel numb. I rather not go back there James but if you love her so much why drag me along?"

Suddenly he crashed his lips to mine and I instantly forgot why I was so mad. My wolf forgot too. He broke the kiss still holding onto my face. He looked into eyes with our foreheads touching.

"She's my ex. Has been my ex for a year. She's fucking nuts, Babe. I would never hurt you or drag you along. As for what she said, that position is only right for you, not her. She means nothing to me. I love you and only you."

I instantly calmed down and that's when the guilt set in. I wrapped my arms around his neck and tears spilled out.

"I'm sorry, I freaked. I can't handle another heart break, more pain." I mumbled against his chest.

"You won't have to as long as I can stop it. I promise you that." He said kissing the top of my head.

I took a deep breath, taking in his scent and smiled. I then looked up at him.

"What are you going to do with her?"

"Don't worry about. Gavin and Jacob are handling it."

I smiled and pecked his lips.

That little bitch better be going through hell for almost ruining me and James over bullshit. How come when two people are happy together somebody has to come and ruin it? It's like Bitch stop right there you're not allowed to walk in this territory it's none of your business.

Sorry it's been a bit since I last updated and sorry this chapter is short. I've been pretty busy with work lately.
