The name's Breanna but call me Bree. I've been running for three years ever since that retched pack I used to call mine abused me and treated me like shit. I got out of my so called prison and ran for the hills. I've been traveling as far away as I can ever since. I've made a few friends with packs on the way. I really liked the Silver Moon pack but I needed to continue on.
I was walking through thick brush when I heard a twig snap along with loud talking. I crouched down on alert.
"Keep your eyes open, son. Wolves are known to be lurking through here."
Humans. I hate humans. They hunt for skin. Useless if you ask me. I could smell the silver bullets. I waited until they were a far enough distance where I could get away without getting shot. I could take them but with a gun and silver bullets there was no way. I ran in the opposite direction and slowed down once I got far enough away. I must've been close to a human town. I ran for a couple hours to get away from civilization and then slowed down. Suddenly I heard growling and crouched down in defense. I growled back with a low warning growl. A big silver wolf walked out along with a smaller brown wolf. They were both a little bigger than I even though I was bigger than the average she-wolf. Probably the alpha in me. My father was alpha of my old pack.
Suddenly they shifted and slipped on sweatpants.
"Shift! Now!" The guy with the silver wolf barked. He had blonde hair and blue eyes.
I walked behind a tree and shifted. It took longer and hurt more because I hadn't shifted in so long. I slipped on sweatpants and a shirt that had been tied to my leg and walked out. My dark brown locks flowing in the wind. They looked surprised to see a girl.
"Why are you trespassing onto Black Mountain territory?" The guy with the brown wolf said glaring. He had brown hair and brown eyes.
"I didn't mean to. I honestly didn't know I was on any pack's territory. I'm just passing through."
"Where is your pack?" Silver wolf asked.
"I don't have one."
"So you are a rogue." The brown haired one said glaring still.
"Technically yes."
"But you aren't crazy and trying to kill us." Brown hair said again.
"That's a long story."
"Something you can tell the Alpha when you meet him." Silver said and grabbed my arm.I tried jerking away but his grip tightened.
"Let's go."
We walked for about a good twenty minutes until a big house appeared. We walked closer and I saw a guy standing there. He had black hair with piercing blue eyes. His scent caught my attention. It was a woodsy scent mixed with mint.
'That's our mate!' My wolf screamed in my head.
'what?' I asked incredulously. 'How? Why would fate pair me up with him?'
'Just something fate decided.'"Alpha." Both guys said bowing their head to him.
"We brought the rogue to you."He then looked me in the eye and that's when I felt the connection. The pull. He had shock and happiness in his eyes. I bet I had the same but I couldn't trust it. I don't trust anyone. Not after what They did to me.
"Bring her to the basement for questioning. I'll be there shortly."
Then they dragged me to the hose and to a door directly to the right. Once we got down the stairs they threw me into a jail cell. The bars made of silver. I'm so fucked.
