"I have pack business to attend to. Bree you're coming with." James said then grabbed my hand as we made our way to the room next to his room.
As he sat at his desk I looked at his huge collection of books. His office wasn't so much wide it was just very tall in height meaning the walls were cover with bookshelves filled with books. I'd always been a bookworm so me being the curious girl I am I had to check it out. He had books on absolutely everything about werewolves and their packs. I grew bored and walked behind him and rubbed my hands from his shoulders down his arms where I hugged him. He tensed up and growled a little in satisfaction. I smiled evilly.
"Breanna." He warned.
"James."
He shuddered when I said his name.
"If you don't stop I'm going to take you right now on my desk." He warned again.
"Then do it." I whispered in his ear.
Suddenly he stood up and threw me on the desk hungrily kissing me. I was in shock at first and then kissed him back with just as much force. We got as far as him sliding his hand up my shirt until he stopped and growled in anger. I looked at him and realized he was mind linking someone. Most likely Gavin or Jacob. I'd come to realize Gavin was his Beta while Jacob was his Third in Command. After a few minutes he looked at me with guilt.
"Duty calls."
That's all he said until Jacob popped up and grabbed my hand. I stopped abruptly and looked at James.
"Shouldn't I be there? I mean I am the future Luna."
"Not this time."
Then Gavin forced me to go. I was stuck in my room with Gavin 'guarding' it until James came to get me. In this time I thought to myself. Why did I care if I went or not?
'Because you know you want to be attached you just won't allow it.' My wolf stated.
I sighed and plopped on my bed. I was stressing myself out with these feelings and thoughts. The only person I could talk to was my wolf and even she wasn't helping much.
'You know what you need to do, what you're supposed to do. You're just scared of getting hurt.' My wolf said suddenly.
'I don't know how to let down my walls.' I said sadly.
'Yes you do. Let James help. Tell him what's going on. Tell him why you ran. Trust him, Breanna. He isn't the enemy, he's our only mate. Fate put us together for a reason. He's the only person who can help.'
She was right. I needed to tell James. I'm scared of how he'll react...
