I was walking through the halls when James appeared.
"Breanna."
"Leave me alone, James."
"No, we need to talk about this."
I stopped abruptly and turned to him.
"What exactly is there to talk about? the fact that you got pissed that I took control for a few hours? That I love you and care for you so dearly that I let you rest and I took care of part of it? What's so wrong about that, James?!"
He just stared like a deer in headlights. I turned and left him puzzled. Don't tell me I'm in the wrong when I'm not and expect to win. You'll be sorry in the end.
I walked down to the cell where Gavin and Jacob had been interrogating Matthew.
"Any progress?"
"None. He woke up but he isn't talking." Gavin sighed sitting back in his chair. Jacob was asleep in the corner.
I walked up to his cell and sat down criss cross apple sauce. I looked at his bored face.
"He never left you did he?" he asked suddenly.
"No. the first time we fought and I acted out in a childish manner. He's my mate, Matthew, I will always love him."
Suddenly he was up against the bars.
"BUT I LOVE YOU, BREANNA!"
I jumped away as Gavin pushed him back.
"BACK OFF!" Gavin yelled at him.
"Matthew, I will never be yours."
With that being said I left the room with a fuming vampire and two smiling werewolves. I felt empowered. Don't fuck with me, I will personally handle you myself and make sure you get what you deserve.
I walked into our room and found James sleeping. I crawled into bed and wrapped my arms around him. he turned over and wrapped his arms around my shoulders squeezing slightly. He pecked my forehead and laid his head on top of mine.
"I'm sorry." He whispered.
"No don't apologize. I should've told you what I was doing. I mean what if it went wrong and you didn't know I even went?"
"How about we fight the world together instead of fighting the world and each other?" He suggested.
"Sounds good, Babe."
I looked up at his smiling face and pressed my lips to his.
"I love you." I said.
"I love you too."

The next day both James and I went down to the cell.
"Well, well, well. The big bad wolf decided to come out and play, did he? Allowing his mate to do all his dirty work?"
"Shut the fuck up, Matthew!" I lost it.
"Gavin, Shocker."
Gavin stood up and picked up a rifle with a scope and shot at Matthew making him shake uncontrollable and foam from the mouth.
"STOP!!" I screamed and squeezed my eyes shut.
I took deep breaths.
1 Mississippi.
2 Mississippi.
3 Mississippi.
4 Mississippi.
"Breanna, my love."
I opened my eyes and looked into those blue eyes I loved so dearly.
"It's over with."
I looked over at Matthew's motionless body.
"Is he?"
"No. Just passed out. Possibly in a coma. But who cares less he'll come up from it soon."
"Why would you do that to him?"
"Dominance. It shows him he needs to respect me or get tortured."
A few minutes later I left and walked into the main house into the kitchen. Once I entered I immediately saw Mary.
"Breanna!"
"Mary!"
She's the only one who calls me by my name except James. She understands I don't like being labeled.
"How's my dear Luna?"
"You know, the usual. Stress, fighting, interrogations, people wanting me dead."
"What?"
"Long story short I had a crazy secret admirer that wanted me as his. we caught him, situation under control as we speak."
"That's good. Now what can I do for ya?"
"What's for lunch?"
"Mac and cheese."
"Yummy."
She filled a plate for me and I sat down and gobbled it up.
"That was delicious!!!"
"Thank you. I put my own twist to it."
After lunch I walked into our room and was thrown on the bed.
"It's been a long time hasn't it, Luna?"
"Davy?"
"You'd be correct."
"Crazy Davy?"
"DONT FUCKING CALL ME THAT, CUNT!"
Suddenly I was thrown across the room and slammed against the wall. I immediately couldn't breath. I gasped for air.
He laughed as he kneeled in front of me.
"You thought I would never come back, did you?"
"Fuck off."
"Wrong answer."
He threw his arm and his hand made impact with my cheek smacking me into the ground which knocked me out.
