CHRIS
I clutched the knife in my hand tightly, watching Ariana as she walked through her kitchen. I hid under her couch, waiting for the right moment to strike.
I slipped out from under, slowly creeping toward her. I decided it would be more fun to play with my pray.
A floor board creaked as I added my weight to it, causing the girl to turn around. She looked around worriedly before uttering a small 'hello'.
She turned back around and slowly yet cautiously continued down the hallway. I quickly entered the kitchen, setting off the fire alarm to lure her into the basement. I left the basement door cracked open so she could see that it was open, but she wouldn't see me.
She turned the alarm off, and I slapped my hand against the wall to get her attention. Her eyes focused on the blackness in the crack of the basement door, staring straight at me. She couldn't see me.
I creaked down the stairs as she opened the door, slowly descending into the basement. I stood right behind her in the darkness, tilting my head as she stood there in silence.
"Haven't you heard anything about scary movies?" I asked. She jumped at the sound of my voice, letting out a scream. "Never go to the basement."
I swung my knife in her direction, hearing her skin slice open. She let out a loud cry for help, trying to run away from me.
She covered up her wound, hiding in clear sight . "No!" She wailed as I walked closer and closer to her.
Blood was pouring out of her chest and down her body, staining her clothes. I grabbed her by the shirt collar and slammed her to the ground, pinning her with my arm.
I ran my knife slowly across her face, pressing hard enough to draw blood. "Please, no!" She cried.
"No one can hear you, darling."
I chuckled at the sounds of her pleads, lifting my knife into the air while taking in a huge breath. "Your little girlfriends gonna miss you. But don't worry, I'll fill your place," I smirked. "She's not yours anymore."
"Help!" She screamed, sprawling onto her back and crawling away. I let her get a few inches away, before jabbing the long, sharp blade of the knife into her lower back. I watched as she covered up her back, screaming out in pain.
I flipped her over, angrily stabbing her in her lower gut. She let out useless cries as I stabbed her flesh uncontrollably. The knife was huge and getting heavier with all of the blood from the girl. I watched as she lie there, choking on her own blood and trying to stay alive.
"P—" she tried, but nothing to come out of her mouth but her own, dark red blood. She turned over on her side, spitting out an entire sip of blood that had formed in her mouth.
I stabbed her in the side, finishing what I had started. I brought her to her feet, resting the blade along her throat. I ripped it from left to right, slicing her neck clean open as hard as I could. She choked out one more time, before the blood was spilling out all over her basement floor.
She fell to the ground, holding her neck and trying to fix what I had done. She stop suffering, and her hands fell to her sides as she stared blankly into nothing, non of her muscles moving.
I watched as the blood spilled out of her lifeless body, getting into her hair. She was lying there in a pool of her own blood. I smirked to myself, admiring the way the liquid flowed across the cement.

BEX
I pulled up to Ariana's yard, seeing the police cars and sirens wailed throughout the entire town. You could hear them from a mile away.
"Oh my god," I mumbled, watching the police men investigate what happened. I rushed up to the sheriff, frantically asking what was going on. My heart sank when they brought a stretcher out of the house with a body bag laying on top of it. "Ariana?"
My heart shattered when I saw her bloody face as they passed by me. Her neck slit from ear to ear, stab wounds up and down her body. "No," I mumbled softly to myself, and I felt as if my heart stop, and my entire world came crashing down. My mind had caved into my brain. "No!" I choked out a loud, eerie sob as they lifted her into the ambulance.
"Ariana!" I continuously screamed at police officers, begging to know how this all could have happened. "Bex? What's going on?" Chris asked as she rested her hands on my shoulders as I broke down in tears.
I rose to my feet, wrapping my arms around Chris as my tears soaked her sweat shirt. "What happened?" She asked. I watched as she looked over to the ambulance, and back at my tear stained face.
"Oh my—I am so sorry," she pleaded, empathy and sympathy was written all over her face. "I just w—want to go h—ome," I stuttered. I was crying so hard that I couldn't even form a normal sentence.
"Yeah. Let's get out of here," Chris agreed as she helped me to the car. I felt like I was going to collapse on the ground, as I already did moments ago.
I sat in the passenger seat, I choked out another sob as Chris closed the car door and started up the truck. With the truck started, she sat back in her seat and looked over at me. She was just staring at me. "What?" I asked, wiping my tear stained face.
She shook her head, pressing down on the gas pedal and driving away from the heart breaking scene.
"She's just...gone." I broke the silence. "I could have been with her and saved her and she's just gone."
"Don't blame yourself, Bex, it's not your fault," Chris promised, shifting her eyes from me and the road every once and a while.
"It's the killers fault."
I looked over at her, not being able to believe that there was a blood thirsty killer on the loose, and we were all the prey.
