BEX

"What do you want?" I growled, answering the phone from the unknown caller. "To see you suffer," it said.

It was that mocking voice, the one Chris would use. "Why are you terrorizing me?" I asked. I heard a chuckle at the other end of the line, causing me to shiver.

"Because, silly, you've got something I want."

"Common sense?" I snarled. He scoffed. "Don't make me spill someone else's guts," he snapped. "I've already killed two people to make my point. Are you going to test me further?"

He was angry, and I could tell. "You are going to regret this," I said. I held the phone securely in my hand, because I had a fear that I would drop it from how my hand was shaking.

"Don't threaten me, or I'll kill everyone you love. Hell, I've already got that planned," he chuckled loudly, and the line went dead. I truly fucked up. I had no idea who this was, but they new something that they shouldn't.

They killed those two people that were found dead. I told Chris it was me, I had to protect her from whatever this was. This person is going to hurt us. He knows what Chris did. He knows what we did together. He knows that we murdered people together. He knows it all.

"How would it hurt if Chris was ripped away from you forever?"

I jumped at the voice behind me, holding my knife out toward the masked freak standing in front of me, head tilting. I clenched my jaw.

"Why so jumpy?" He laughed. "Why so covered? Scared to take off the mask, coward?" I spat. He chuckled.

"It's hard for you to understand, I know, But I'm going to make a deal with you, Bex."

"What deal?" I said, confused and worried for what he wanted me to do. "Let's work together. Kill Chris together. She's a monster, a psycho. We can take down the monster. She will hurt you—"

"No. I'm not hurting her. Neither are you!" I yelled. He laughed in response. "Fine, have it your way. If you don't want to take the deal, Chris is mine. She always has been mine. You stole her from me, and I'm going to take her back," he said, in a mocking tone.

"Chris is too strong for you. You'll never be able to do that. Fuck your deal," I said. I knew Chris, she was fully capable of defending herself. "I love her more than you do, Bex," he spat. "I always have, and I still do."

"No. You don't!" I yelled, holding my knife toward him. "Who are you?" I asked. "I'd rather remain anonymous. Now that you've denied my deal, I guess you truly are in for a broken heart—"

I cut him off, sending my knee into his stomach. He grabbed my wrist, the one I held my knife with, and twisted it backwards. I let out a cry of pain, and he shoved me to the ground.

He grabbed my knife, holding it to my throat. "I'm going to slit your throat open so Chris will have no one to go to but me," he said.

I tensed up, not afraid of him. "Do it," I mumbled, sitting up so the knife drew blood. I winced at the slight sting.

"Very well, then." He pressed the blade firmly to my throat, ready to kill me right then and there. I closed my eyes, the last thing in my mind was Chris, how much I was letting her down.

I thought of how much I loved her, and that she didn't deserve to lose me, but I knew she would brutally murder whoever was behind the mask.

I felt the knife remove from my skin, followed by a loud female scream and a groan. I opened my eyes, thinking I was dead. I saw Chris straddling the masked freak and holding the knife to his stomach.

"Chris, what the hell! Get out of here!" I yelled. She smirked at me, ripping the mask off of him. Her face went confused, she didn't seem to feel shock as I expected her to. The person seemed to know Chris well.

"Who the fuck are you?" She questioned, holding the knife to his throat. I got a better look, and it was someone I didn't know at all. "Why did you come here?" She continued questioning, drawing blood on his face to make him answer her questions.

"Some guy sent me to kill that one," he cried as he pointed at me. "I didn't do any of the killing, he did. He sent me here. He said he'd pay me three grand if I did it and got away."

Chris looked back at me, a sad look on her face. "Who are you freaks anyway?" He asked.

Chris fixed her gaze back on him, her knife digging into the skin of his neck. "We'll show you," she said, smirking at me.

I knew what she had planned. I crawled over to him, holding his arms above his head. Chris plunged the knife into his gut, causing him to cry out.

"Who the fuck sent you? Who was he!" She screamed, slicing through his arm. He cried out as she did so. "I don't know, I really don't know. He had that mask on, he didn't show his face or his name. Please!" He pleaded as Chris cut him.

She slapped him hard across the face, beginning to slice a long cut down his stomach. "You thought we would let you go anyway?" I said, holding him down. "Sad to think that." I chuckled, continuing to watch Chris murder him brutally.

She stabbed him repeatedly in the stomach, and he choked up blood. He became weak, and I let his arms go and watched him choke on his own blood. "Damn, that feels good," Chris laughed.

He stopped struggling and moving, and his eyes rolled to the back of his head. "This isn't him," she mumbled. "This isn't the fucking guy that's been doing this."

She looked back up at me, anger on her face. "Why didn't you tell me this was happening?" She asked. "Now we are so fucked!" She yelled, getting in my face.

I was speechless. "I— I didn't want you getting hurt—"

"Hurt? Do I look like a pussy defenseless bitch to you? I made you what you are and you hid this situation from me?"

"I'm sorry, I truly am. I hid this because I love you so much," I said, hoping she wouldn't be angry with me anymore.

She sighed, not knowing what to say. "I love you too. Now I guess it looks like we can't run and hide from what we've done anymore."

"Now what do we do?" I asked. Her eyes lit up, and she looked into mine.

"We do what we did before,"
