Chapter 3

Skyler's POV:

I woke up on a really hard bed. I opened my eyes and saw that I was not on a bed and that McKenzie was sleeping next to me. She soon woke up.

"Where are we?" I asked

"I don't know Sky." She replied

"Well let's walk around and see if anyone will tell us where we are." I said

We walked through town. We noticed a lot of people staring at us. I wondered why. Soon we came up to this place called the DX. Hmm that sounds familiar. We walked in. We went up to the front desk and saw a guy sitting there. McKenzie's jaw dropped and it looked like she thought the guy was cute.

"Hey doll," the guy said referring to McKenzie

"Hi," McKenzie said

"You new around here?" He asked

"Actually yes," I said cutting into their conversation

"Where are ya'll from?" He asked

"It depends. Where are we?" I asked

"Tulsa, Oklahoma." He replied

"What?" McKenzie asked

"We're from New York." I said

"Whoa! You guys are a long way from home." He said

"Let me introduce myself, I'm Sodapop Curtis, but you can call me Soda." Sodapop said 

Oh my god we're in the Outsiders! I can't believe it!

"I'm McKenzie Adams, but you can call me Kenzie, and this is Skyler Jackson," McKenzie said

"Nice to meet you." Sodapop said

Just then someone came out of the back.

"Hey Steve come meet these lovely ladies!" Soda yelled

Steve came over to us.

"Why hello ladies, I'm Steve," Steve said

"I'm Skyler Jackson and this is McKenzie Adams." I said

"Where are you from?" Steve asked

"New York," McKenzie replied

"Well, where are you staying?" Soda asked

"I don't know..." I said

"Why don't you come over to my house and we'll figure it out," Soda said

"Alright," McKenzie said

"Well girls we get off now, so let's go to the Curtis' house!" Steve yelled

McKenzie and I laughed. Soon we followed Soda and Steve out of the DX to the Curtis house.
