She smiled, a bit of mother's pride in her eyes, "Yes, as you can see. Aladdin is my son."

Silence hung around the room as everyone
processed this information.

Finally, after an unnerving, long pause of silence, Solomon spoke,

"Sheba, may we speak about this in private?"

She felt even more anxious, and nodded, telling Aladdin that she would be back in a while, to which the child nodded to, and proceeded to play and make friends with Tess.

Once they were out of hearing range, mainly the kitchen, Solomon then decided to start.

"Why did you not tell me about this?"

She gulped,"W-well...---I---ermm...---"

She glared heatedly at herself and focused,
like a mantra in her head, she repeated,

'I will not lose my nerve. I WILL NOT lose my nerve. I....'

And so on and so forth, with a newfound determination, she stood up taller,

"I was going to, but then, you wanted to cut things off."

She could see a flash of guilt in his eyes, so she quickly added,"It is alright though! If I had said that back then, you would be a father and partner to someone you didn't want to be in a relationship with."

She closed her eyes, smiling,"I didn't want that for you, and for Aladdin."

He was blank-faced now, she hated it when he was like this, it was a calculating, thoughtful gaze that held way too many unpredictabilities. She could not read his next move, and she could hear how fast her heart was pounding in her ears.

Yes, it was that loud.

"I see, why did you come back now then, Sheba?"

His voice still sended tingles, especially when he said her name, but that feeling was overpowered by anxiety and nervousness of the unpredictability of everything.

"Well... I wanted to see you all again, and Aladdin wanted to meet you."

He voiced out his thoughts again,"Why?"

'He is still very vague,' She mused,"I'm not sure what you mean by that."

"Why did he want to meet me?"

"I told him about you, I told him about everyone. He practically begged me to let him meet you all."

He nodded,"I see...."

He was silent for a while, she assumed that
he needed time to think, and that their conversation was over, and turned to go.

But then he grabbed her wrist, she was shocked.

"Tell me, really, why are you here?"

His eyes were intense, emotions were swirling and crashing in them.

She smiled,'Finally, I get what he means.'

"I don't have any ill intentions, don't worry. I'm not intending for you to father Aladdin now, nor do I want you to break off your engagement with Arba. My son wanted to meet you, I wanted to see you all again. We will be leaving anyway, we don't plan to stay here for long."

His grip on her wrist tightened, and she winced a bit.

"Solomon, can you let go of me, please?"

He snapped out of his stupor, and nodded, letting go of her wrist.

She massaged it a bit before turning around to head to the living room where everyone was, but then she stopped right by the door to look at Solomon.

"No matter what, Solomon, I do not intend
for you to enter my and my child's life. I only did this because I do not want him growing up without knowing you, for you were the one who helped create him. Nevertheless, even if Aladdin is your offspring as well, I do not view you as his father. I want Aladdin to have a father who loves him, I don't want him to have a father who thinks that he is just his 'responsibility.' I'll be fine with just the two of us."

And with half of her feelings expressed, she felt a little lighter and left the room, leaving a shocked Solomon behind.
