Our son nodded obediently and hugged her before she left with an 'I love you.'

Another pang went through me after witnessing that, only this felt very different as to what I experienced when Momo was here.

As she and Ugo were about to leave, I rose from my seat and said,

"May I go with you both?"
---------------------------------------------------------------------

STILL Solomon's P.O.V.

Silence greeted me after I asked that.

After a few awkward moments of stillness,
Ugo answered,

"Sure, if it's alright with you, Sheba?"

She nodded, albeit, somewhat stiffly,"It's ok, I don't mind."

And with that, I made a move towards the exit---

"Solomon, what about that business meeting?"

My... fiancee asked.

Ahh... I forgot about that... I still have to accompany the president to his business meeting.

But... this might be my only chance to talk with her.

Surely, I can be a bit selfish and unreasonable just this once?

"Tell him I won't be able to make it."

And with that I followed her and Ugo, who were already outside.

I didn't notice the dark look that she sent me.

WHAT HAPPENED WHILE SHEBA AND MOMO WERE TALKING:

Sheba's P.O.V.

I dragged the cat outside.

"What was that about? You almost blew it."
He then huffed, annoyed,"Well, it's not bad, isn't it? The job you have here overworks you, Sheba, and gives you minimal wage, the last straw was when they fired you for no reason!"

I blinked, surprised,"So that's what you came to tell me?"

"Yes."

I sighed, slumping against the wall a bit, with a hand on the bridge of my nose.

Oh, what was I going to do? How am I going to raise me and Aladdin when I have no source of income?

"...Then I guess I'll go look for another job."

Momo sighed,"I can help-----

I stopped him,"No, you've helped me enough, Momo. You have to go home, your mother needs you."

"But-----

"I'll be able to manage here on my own.' I paused, trying to think of something that'll reassure him.

'Besides, Ugo is here, if there's a person I trust the most here, it's him."

He sighed, this time relaxed and resigned,

"Alright. I'll leave it to him then...' he then paused and glared threateningly at me.

'But if you DARE try to DO THIS ALONE, I will personally SWIM ACROSS THE OCEAN to HELP your stubborn ass."

I shivered, Momo can be scary at times. Even if what he said was reassuring.

I nodded rapidly to his response.

Then we both went back so he can say goodbye to everyone.

I pouted, I'm a grown woman with a son, I can take care of myself! Why can't everyone seem to take note of that?
