He glared at me and patted down his pants before cursing, "Aw shoot!" and tried to get something so I waited. "Were you trying to shoot me?" he looked up at me, "I was paid for it.This isn't even me. See that dog? That's not even mine!" He wailed flinging his arms around. He flinged his arms out so much that the dog got hit in the nose. Yelping he backed away whining. Tank pranced on her paws before going to see if he was alright.I laughed at him. "Tell em' that I am not gonna die that easy!" I patted his shoulder before shifting and taking off.Tank turned her head one she heard my paws and licked the muzzle of the dog before trying to catch up.
FEW HOURS LATER
I panted collpasing on the soil. The soil provided some what coolness to my stomach.Tank whinned a couple feet away laying her head on her paws and stretching her back legs out closing her eyes. We had been running for three hours non stop with stuff on out backs.I shrugged it off and shook myself before pawing at the ground creating a big enough hole. I picked it up with my mouth and threw it in the hole and went over to Tank unclapsing the buckle with my mouth and wiggling her free with it as she huffed. I bent down licking her face before going back and placing it next to my bag and flinging dirt into the hole.I layed back down on my side feeling my body temp go down into a good heat and cold reaction. I was room tempature.
I got up stretching and yawning making my tounge go outside of my mouth. I turned back to see Tank fast asleep. I changed into my German Shepherd form and sat back down. My coat was hard to describe but I had a wide statur with muscles. I was not a trot around the ring sort of German Shepherd.I snapped open Tank's color and put it over the pile before picking her up by the scruff. She swayed back and forth as I walked slowly. It must look wierd for large German Shepherd to be carrying a six month old puppy in her mouth. We past trees for several minutes before I saw the opening of the city. People shouted and threw insults at eachother while driving, car horns honked and people jogged and walked talk to their friends as kids shouted for their moms.I stepped out troting at a brisk pace as some people ran into me. I have no clue where I am at all! Though this is a busy place.I yelped at a person ran into my side. How do you not see me? I for one know I am not!I growled softly at the person while lifting up my lips before turning around and running. Green lush grass was a little ways infront of me as I sped up. Tank seemed to wake up and stretch and yelped as she relized she was being held. She rocked back and forth in my jaws before we ran into the park. A big willow tree and some benches were scattered around as the kid playground was on the other side of the park. The grass seemed like it will need a cutting in a few weeks but it was soft to the touch.I set her down under the willow tree as I layed down towards a old man feeding the pigeons. I woofed a laugh as a bird went ontop of his head and squaked. The man threw out some more food for them it smelt like bread crumbs and they flocked to him as the one ontop of his head jumped down and ate out of the bag.
Tank curled up on my side in a ball as we started to drift asleep. When we woke up we were surrounded by people in dog catcher uniforms with nets. I nudged Tank awake as she stood up shaikily. "Hey mama." a girl cooed at me and held her net up. "That's your baby, yeah?" She asked again acting like I could answer her.She slowly lowered the thing that holds their neck and made it go in on my fur. Tank had one on too. I looked up calmly at the person as she starting coaxing me and Tank out at different directions.Once we were a few feet apart I was getting worried. I barked and tugged trying to get to her as she did the same. "No!" she said sternly as she tried to re-direct us in another direction. A big car was there,it was white with some medal doors open. I sat down as she tried to get me to go further.
I braced myself as she pulled me and Tank soon caught on and sat down too.The girl kept on yanking as my head extended towards her but I scooted back some more as she stumbled. Sighing she yelled out, "Turlet, we need some assistance with a German Shepherd." as a guy came running up. The guy with Tank picked her up and put her in the van. The guy picked my front legs up making me awkward. My fur scruntched up and made me furry as the girl dropped the thing and picked up my lower half. I yelped at the coldness of her hands on the less fury part of me. "One, two, three!" she said as they lifted me up and put me in another cage.I was scruntched up in a cage that should have fit a small dog, not a large dog. I poked my nose through the metal and watched the cars breeze past us.
We arrived at a building that was large in side and had a fending machine out in front, the ground had rocks and on the other side it had "Dog Of The Day!" written on a sighn pinned up to a cage. Ontop of the building right above the enter sighn was "German Shepherd Rescue! I don't kill you so why should we kill them?" Written on a sighn, the sentence under it.The girl came around and unclasped the cage clasp before putting me back on the thing as she moved out of the way for me to jump down. I did too! I jumped out with all my might landing a few feet away wich isn't bad. My fur blew up with the inpact making me seem fluffy. We entered and there was a office and right by the front desk there was the sighn to let you know the dogs are that way. The cold concrete floor touched the pads of my paws and I jumped a little making the girl look back worridly at me. The guy carried Tank behind us making her bounce up and down with every step. The girl made us walk past several cages before putting us at the back. Two very large dog bowls were there along with a large bed that could fit atleast three dogs. She ushered me in and put Tank in before closing the door.
"Turlet, we need to make them cards." she said carrying on a conversation with him before going back down the isles. Well this is atleast good shelter from the ones who want to kill me atleast!
