"Isn't he cute" she says, handing her phone,
"Of corse he is" I said, starring at this male.
Short dark hair,
And perfect check bones.
Why wouldn't she think he's cute?,
He looks like he's sculpted by a god.
"Who's this one?" I asked,
Remembering the last time she talked to a guy.
"Same one, just finally got a picture"
She explains, having a smile only I want to make her have.
A message pops up,
Making me give the phone back.
"What's he to you?" I ask, getting her attention,
"Just a friend from my old school, that's all"
I fake a smile,
Looking back at the simple table.
"Why do you care so much?"
She asked, catching me by surprise.
"Well you haven't been with anyone before"
I explain, trying to find words.
"Just don't want to see you get hurt"
I said, smiling to her curious face.
"Your so sweet" she kindly said,
Causing us to both smile.
"Name your favorite romantic movie",
She ordered, making eye contact with me.
I thought, remembering the movies I've have seen,
"Fox and the Hound" I whispered.
"That's not a love movie"
She laughed, shaking her head.
"The love between two completely different individuals"
I protested "The only force stronger than fear"
"Didn't mean to insult you Shakespeare"
Defeated throwing her hands up.
Throwing food at her face,
Starting our own little food fight.
That girl makes me want to go to my fancy land,
Making it just her and me so no one else could hold her hand.
So I could be her knight in shining armor,
And her friend to help paint her nails.
