As he glares at the Dark Warrior with fiercely glowing red eyes, he forcefully commands him,

"Burn this village to the ground! Set it on fire!" The leader shouts, his uncontrollable rage showing through his cool façade. The inferior Dark Warrior with angrily flickering fire-like eyes bows his head reluctantly in submission as he follows orders,

"As you wish, sir." He lifts his hands, and the houses nearest to him start to burn, the fire spreading quickly. Satisfied, the red-eyed Warrior strides off with the others hot on his tail. The fiery Warrior lingers for a bit, until the sharp voice of his superior calls him forward. He looks back one last time, murmuring under his breath, "I'm sorry."

He soon catches up with the others, and they all disappear with a flash of light.

Nia's POV

After the Dark Warriors disappear, chaos flares up in the crowd. My parents start pushing me out of the town center, wanting to make sure I'm safe. Frantically, I look through the throngs of people for one specific boy with black hair and light green eyes, and his family.

"Saber!" I desperately shout, not really expecting him to hear me over the angry crowd. I definitely don't expect him to answer, but I still hear him holler back,

"Nia! I'm coming, don't move!" I try to stay put, but my father picks me up with ease and tosses me over his shoulder, keeping me there.

"Dad! Put me down!" I order him in a harsh voice, but it does nothing to faze him. I try to find Saber in the crowd, but with no success, which isn't that shocking. My view over the crowd has decreased. A lot.

"Nia, where are you?" Mentally, Saber frantically asks in a scared voice. I can almost feel his fear for me like a living being right next to me.

"I'm being carried off by my dad. He won't put me down, and he's too strong for me to get myself out of his hold." I reply, my irritation towards my father clear in my voice.

"Don't worry, I'll find you." Saber promises, and I can't help but hope that he will. I always feel better when he's with me.

"Fire! The village is on fire!" I hear someone shout, and some members of the village run off to collect water to put it out. I start to squirm more wildly in my dad's hold, wanting to escape to help.

"Let me help!" I scream at my dad, "Put me down!"

"No, we need to get away from here. Stop squirming!" My dad commands, growling slightly at me.

"My baby! My baby is in there!" One of the members of the village, Lucy, screeches. She had just recently had her first child.

"No! Dad let me go, let me help!" I try to plead with him, but he ignores me. Tears start to fall out of my eyes as my dad quickens his pace, running to get out of the village with my mom beside him.

"Nia!" Saber hollers in my mind. I immediately respond,

"Saber, what's wrong?"
