I Need You

Taetae???

Nikki's POV:

Tae is busy working on his new drama that he's starring in. I'm so proud of him. It really looks like this drama is going to sky rocket his acting career.

But, he's so busy that it's been almost a week since we spoke. His schedule is packed, that either whenever he's free, I'm not or whenever I'm free, he's not. 

I was eating lunch with Jess and my colleague Alice. Alice was going on and on about her perfect boyfriend, and she didn't show signs of stopping. Why was she even sitting with us again? I don't recall us being friends.

She tried to get details out of me about my boyfriend, but all I said was that I'm in a long distance relationship, and she didn't even try to hide the fact that she was not impressed.

I called Tae just to see if he was free, because I was getting so tried of her constant yapping. "Yeoboseyo? Nikki?" He said through the other end. A big smile formed across my face - finally!

"Hey Tae... How are you?? I haven't spoken to you in so long!" 

"I know! I'm sorry it's just I was really busy wi- ~Taetae!!! Come on they're calling for us!~ Just a minute! Sorry beautiful, I gotta go... I'll call you later okay? Bye!" 

"Oh okay bye, love y-" and the line went dead. Sigh! "What's wrong??? Trouble in paradise?" Alice asked raising an eyebrow. 

"No it's just this long distance thing. He's really busy.." I said looking down. 

"It's alright, he'll call you later on. Don't worry.." Jess assured me. "Pfft, yea right! Honey, in long distance relationships, you either miss the other person, or you forget them. Clearly it's the latter.." Alice spat, while sipping her tea.

"Bullshit! You can't make judgments like that! You don't know what kind of relationship they have." Jess defended.

"Oh please!! He must be with another girl right now!" Alice said. My eyes shot up at her. "Alice! Yo-" Jess tried to argue.

 "I'm right aren't I?? Save yourself the trouble darling and dump him before he dumps you!" She smirked and took a bite out of her sandwich.

I slammed my fists on the table, "You're wrong! You don't anything about my relationship or him or me for that matter to say this kind of f**king shit! I trust him and I know he's not going to do anything to hurt me!" 

And with that I stormed out of the cafe and into the streets. *She's wrong! She's wrong!* I kept telling myself. *~Taetae!!! Come on they're calling for us!~* Ugh! Who the heck was that annoying b- Stop! Don't curse Nikki! 

Taetae?!?!??!!? I mean! What on earth?! Why was he even letting her call him that? I rushed back to my office to get the rest of my work done.

Taehyung's POV:

 "Hey Jenie, ummm I know this might sound weird but, can you uuhhh, not call me 'Taetae'... " I nervously said to her, while trying to avoid eye contact.

"But why?? I thought your friends called you Taetae..." She said, while pouting at me. Why is she acting like this?!

"Yea but only my really close friends call me Taetae hehe" I said while rubbing the back of my head. 

"Oh..... then can I call you Tae?" She asked while trying to look all cute. "NO! I mean uh no, only peach- I mean, only one person gets to call me that." I said. Oh God this is getting so awkward.

"Wow you sure are particular about names aren't you *giggle*" , She blushed. Any other guy would've fallen head over heals for that giggle, but I felt like throwing up. 

Ever since the first day of shooting she's been acting weird and tries to get too close. I gave her a small smile and left. On my way back to the dorm, usually I fall asleep, but I immediately called Nikki, before I fell asleep again.

"Nikki! Hey beautiful! I'm so sorry I couldn't talk to you sooner. I was really busy with the shooting and-"

"I know Tae, don't worry about it. I'm glad you called back. So how's everything going??" She asked. She seemed a little off.

"Everything's going fine, how about you?? You seem a little upset. Is everything alright?" I asked.

"Yea, everything is fine."

"Alright, if there's anything you wanna talk about then don't hesitate okay love?" I assured. 

"Mhmm.'

She's keeping her replies awfully short. Something's definitely wrong. 

"I love you Peach" I said softly. Silence. "I love you too Taetae!" Hollup!!!!! TAETAE!! NO! If she had called me that first then I would've loved it. But after hearing Jennie say it, all its making me do now is cringe.

"Don't call me that!" I said in a hurry. "Why not???" She sounded a little offended. "I just don't like that name. Stick to Tae, please!" I pleaded.

"Oh so other girls can call you taetae but not me?!!??!" She retorted. "Huh?" I asked, clearly confused, how did she know?

"I know! I'm sorry it's just I was really busy wi- ~Taetae!!! Come on they're calling for us!~ Just a minute! Sorry Nikki, I gotta go... I'll call you later okay? Bye!" 

"Ohhhhh so that's what all this is about!" I exclaimed, smiling widely. "What?" She acted oblivious.

"How cute! You're jealous!!" I cooed. "AM NOT!!!!", she yelled. "ARE TOO!!" I could not stop laughing. This is too precious. 

"Yea yea! Laugh! Laugh all you want. Don't talk to me for a week, forget all about me and sit there eating grapes with your new found love interest, ~Taetae!! Come on Taetae!! It's time for our set Taetae!!!~ Bla bla bla just throw me out of the window already for God's sake!"

"Forget?! Grapes?! Love interest?! What on earth?! You've got to be kidding me Nikki. I'm sorry I couldn't talk to you for a week, but did you even try calling me once except for today?? Why is it that every time I have to call you? I'm not saying I mind doing that but, there are chances I could forget or don't get the chance to call. And I still gave up on sleep and called you just so I can hear your voice! And you're there accusing me of something I didn't even do. For your information, I just told Jennie not to call me that and that it makes me uncomfortable. I don't know what's gotten into you and why you're acting like this. I love you and only you! You want me to get more cheesy?!" I yelled playfully.

"No....." She said softly. 

"Good, now go. You have to go to work now right? I'll try and call you in the afternoon.." I said.

"No, I'll call you." 

".......okay. Bye" 

"Tae?"

"Hmmm?"

"I'm sorry, I love you..." She said.

"I love you too beautiful. Now go don't get late!" I said and hung up. I slept with a huge smile on my face. That's it, problem solved. Nothing can go wrong now.
