I Need You

Misunderstanding

Nikki's POV:

Jimin looked behind to find me by the door. I turned around to find the rest of the members, all with a similar expression.

I proceeded to walk quickly towards the door, "Nikki Wait! Just hear him out!" Jin hyung shouted from behind.

I ran as quickly as possible out of the house. "Nikki WAIT!!!!" Taehyung shouted from behind. I didn't want to be anywhere near him at the moment. 

I left everything and came here to be with him, and the day I reach I'm gifted with this. I couldn't believe anything that was going on. I felt like everything around me was collapsing.

"Nikki please just listen to me!" Taehyung shouted from behind. My vision was blurred from crying and I couldn't see where I was going. All I cared about was getting as far away from him as possible.

Taehyung's POV:

How did everything turn out to be like this?! It's okay, I'll talk to her and everything will be fine.

"Nikki wait! Nikki! Nikki watch out!! NIKKI!!!!!!!!" 

..........

Time stopped. My whole world came crashing down. I couldn't move from my spot, it was as though someone had cut off my legs. 

There in front of me, was the woman I love, lying in a pool of blood. I somehow gathered up the courage to run to her.

"Nikki???" I grabbed her and patted her cheeks. I was profusely crying and couldn't gather my thoughts. 

"Ambulance!!! Somebody call the ambulance!!!" I looked back at her and found her still unconscious. Blood was dripping from her head and into my hands and I couldn't breathe! This can't be happening to me! 

Even after 5 minutes, there was no sign of an ambulance. I wasn't going to take any risk! I can't afford to lose her!

I carried her in my arms and ran all the way to the hospital, fans were following and taking pictures but I didn't care!

I reached the hospital in a few minutes, and rushed her inside and put her on a gurney. "What happened to her?!" The doctor asked as they started to move her to the OT as fast as possible.

"Ca-Car Ac-accident" I said in between sobs and before I knew it, I was being pushed out of the OT, and made to wait. 

I was pacing back and forth in the waiting room and crying my eyes out. I called Jin hyung and told him everything that happened. 

Jin's POV:

"What is wrong with you Jimin?! Nothing happened between Taehyung and Jennie!" I yelled at Jimin.

"You don't know anything hyung! I saw everything!" He yelled back. I let out a sigh of exasperation. "Jimin, after you saw what you saw and stormed off, I stayed behind, and saw Taehyung pushing her away and he said 'What the f**k Jennie! I don't like you! I have a girlfriend!' and he walked away from her and he told her to not contact him ever again and to leave him alone..." I said.

"What?" Jimin said in disbelief. "Why didn't you tell me anything hyung??!" he yelled again.

"I tried but you wouldn't listen to me! You weren't ready to talk to me whatsoever abou-" My phone started ringing as I was speaking.

"Yea Taehyung-ah! Did you find- What?! Okay okay calm down, we're on our way!" I said quickly and started to walk towards the door.

"Nikki's been in a car accident! She's at the hospital!" I said and everyone else took a second to realize what I just told them. We all took our coats and ran out. 

"Drive faster hyung!!" Jimin said in between sobs. 'I'm going as fast as I can Jimin!" I said and finally we reached the hospital.

I rushed to the reception and asked the lady about Nikki. "She's in the OT right now sir, please wait in the waiting room to your left." 

I found Taehyung on the floor in the corner just staring into blank space. He was a wreck, he had blood all over his clothes, his face and hands. "Taehyung-ah..." I said softly as I approached him. He slowly looked up at me and burst into tears.

Hoseok rushed to him and embraced him. Jimin was losing it as well. Everyone was crying and Yoongi was praying. Suddenly, a couple of nurses ran into the OT looking quite nervous. 

"What?! What's going on???" Taehyung stopped one of the nurses. "Sir please, you'll have to wait!" She said and ran inside. 

"This can't be happening! I don't want anything to happen to her! I need her back! I need to see her!!!!" Taehyung yelled in between sobs. 

Hoseok and Namjoon were taking care of Taehyung while Jimin was having a hard time himself. Jungkook was pacing back and forth as well. I realized some people in the hospital recognized us and I called my manager and told him of the situation. 

After a while, two of our managers came and cleared the area and stood guard for us. Her operation got over after 7 hours, and finally the doctor came out. 

"What happened doc?!" All of us asked at the same time. "Okay first of all, all of you need to calm down, and listen carefully to what I have to say next." He said while looking at us pretty serious.

"Alright, so Nikki is in a pretty critical condition as of now. We can't really tell anything until 24 hours of observation. She has some brain swelling and because of that we've put her on a medically induced coma. She has a fracture on her right hand and her left ankle is sprained pretty bad, but that'll recover in a month. But I can't guarantee when she'll wake up from the coma. Don't worry, everything will be alright... " He patted Taehyung on the back and left. 

It absolutely broke my heart into pieces seeing Taehyung like this. The saddest I've seen him was during his Halmoni's death. But this is doing much worse for him. I've never seen him like this.
