Jayden walked towards the front door. " Jayden wait!" I said still giggling. I grabbed his wrist. " no!" He yelled still so angry. I was still laughing so hard that he dragged me with him, still attached to his wrist. " Alex you do know this is like a 3rd of my strength right? If you're gonna try, you might as well grab your coat. " he said. He yanked his wrist out of my hand and went out of the door. I went to our closet where put our coats. I grabbed mine and I also decided to bring his too. I put mine on and when I went outside I almost fell to the ground it was so cold. It felt so much colder than it looked. Luckily, Jayden wasn't that far ahead, he was literally sat in the grass by our neighbor's house. I giggled. I was feeling a little tired myself, like I was going to faint from the cold. Does this have anything to do with what happens when my blade caught fire? I shook it off and walked towards Jayden. " what happened?" I giggled. " I'm still a little burnt out from the spell..." he said. "Oh... is it cold out here for you? I'm freezing." I said shuddering. " not really...it's like 51 degrees." He said ( Fahrenheit). " really? It's SO cold out here to me..." I said. He mumbled something."huh?" I said. " huh? Nothing." He said. " why don't we go shopping for a car?" I said. " sure. when?" He said. " I don't know... next week?" I said. " I guess." He said. " help me up."

I put my hand out and he grabbed it and stood up. He put his arm around my shoulder. "Let's go back inside." I said. " no." He said. " what?" I said " I said NO!" He yelled. " why?" I asked. He looked at me with a fury, but not mad at me. Must be his father." I'm tired of my father bothering me. I want to put an end to him... but I promised myself I wouldn't do that anymore... no matter who they are. Not after I killed him..." he explained. " but I just want to... UGH!" He clenched his fists. I could tell that he was super angry. " Jayden! Calm down! You're going to hurt yourself more than you already are." I said. He unclenched his fists. He relaxed on to me. " fine, but I'm still going." He said. When we got to his mom's house he rang the doorbell like 5 times. His mom answered the door. " where is he?!" he yelled. " Jayden, Jayden calm-- oh hey alex!-- calm down." She said. " he's at the hospital." " well what did you tell them?" I asked. " that he was impaled with a big knife." She said. "Oh" I said.

"I can't believe he did that! Ugh! I just wanna--" Jayden said before cutting self off. " calm down jayden." He said to himself taking deep breaths. " honey, I think you should come inside. You need to relax... how about so some chamomile tea?" She asked. I looked at Jayden. He looked frustrated. " yes, that would be lovely." I said to her. She welcomed us in and we sat at the table. After a while, she came out of the kitchen with the tea. " I'm back!" She said in a sing songy voice. I took a sip. " thanks so much, Mrs.Link! "I said. " no problem! So, tell me what going on in your lives!" She said. "Well, we're supposed to be buying a new car in the next week or so... how about you? Aren't you supposed to be adopting a child?" I asked " awesome! And yeah, but I have to call over the adoption lady to see if I can have a baby... a lot of paper work and stuff." She said. " good to know, when do you plan on calling?" I asked. " maybe next weekend, I still have to work." She said. Jayden grunted. " are you ok?" I asked him. " I'm... fine. I'm going to the bathroom." He said getting up and slamming the bathroom door behind him after he entered.

" what's wrong with him? Do you think it's the baby talk?" Said mrs. Link. " nah, I know him... he'd just bottle up his feelings... I'll just go talk to him." I said getting up and walking to the bathroom door.
