today is the last day i will visit the cafe.

if ivy has given up, then so have i.

because, if i let go of the cafe, maybe i can let go of ivy, too.

at least, i thought today was my last.

i was on my third cup of tea, and i was far too full to continue. i drank halfway down until my stomach felt heavy and warm.

that's when she walked in, winter snowflakes caught in her beautiful hair, the shade brightening in my mind. everything suddenly refreshed, and i completely remembered every detail, the way her collarbones molded out of her flesh and how her smile made me so, so, so, happy. it was all there, there it was.

there she was.
