Thor

Thor eats double chocolate doughnuts

Thor heard the door open and a voice call his name. He walked into the kitchen and saw Jane setting a box of brown circles on the counter.

            “What are those?” He asked.

            “They’re double chocolate doughnuts.”

            “Are they good?”

            “A lot of people think so except for Eric, he says they’re unhealthy.”

            “They are.” Selvic replied carrying in another bag of groceries.

            “Only if you eat too many.” Darcy replied.

            Thor helped them put the groceries away and sat beside Jane on the couch. He put in a movie and they watched it for a while before she fell asleep with her head on his shoulder. Thor carried her to her room before walking to his own. The next morning Thor woke up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and walked to the kitchen.

            “Hey Thor want some coffee?” Darcy asked.

            “Of course.” Thor replied nodding his head in thanks.

            “Here try a doughnut too, it’s even better when you dunk it in coffee.”

            She left to wake up Eric and Jane, and Thor took her advice. He dunked the chocolate doughnut in the coffee then took a bite. Thor finished his breakfast before writing a note and leaving.

            “Hey have you seen Thor?” Jane asked a half hour later.

            “He left a note saying something about doughnuts and important.”  Darcy replied.

            “What?”

            “I don’t know. He’ll be back soon though… I think…”

            “Last time he left for two years.”

            “I’m sure he’s coming back sooner than that.”

            Meanwhile in another part of town Thor was at the store grabbing every box of doughnuts he could find. When he walked up to the check out the employee looked at him.

            “Do you want to purchase all of these?”

            “Yes.” Thor replied.

            “That will be eighty dollars.” They replied after ringing it all up.

            Thor paid for the food then went back to his friends’ place to surprise them.

            “Thor your back where… are those doughnuts?” Jane asked.

            “Yes, they are good so I bought them.”

            “Well I know what we’re going to be eating for the rest of the month.” Darcy said staring at all of the doughnut boxes.
