"You ready?" he smiled. I laughed he always caught me off guard and said the opposite of what I thought he was going to say,

"Yea." I nodded. The drive to Gemma's preschool was easy and quick Jules explained to me that he had a big family and as hard as it was to believe when we get to his house everyone there would be related to him somewhere along the line. I laughed a bit any; family would be bigger than mine. Once we got to the preschool I told Jules to park around the corner to surprise Gemma. He laughed a bit before driving off. I walked into the preschool as casually as possible.

"Sammy!" Miss Kim called as I walked past. I stopped and backtracked a few steps to the front desk,

"Yes?" I gleam the smile on my face was the only give away of my unusual joy. She smiled at me, "You look very happy today."

I laughed "Yes, Its last day of school Miss you should know that!" she laughed along with me

"Ok, she's in the sandpit." I nodded a thank you and walk away. Gemma ran over as soon as I stepped outside into the backyard area of the preschool,

"Sammy!" she squealed. I picked her up and she squirmed with laughter.

"Come on," I say picking up her bags and waving to Miss Kim on our way out the door. She skipped down the road with me and didn't even notice Jules's car coming around the corner. It stoped beside us and he rolled down his window looking at Gemma as he called out,

"Do I know you, you look very familiar?"

"Jules!" she squeals, and then looked at me. I smiled at her reaction. Jules had put the booster seat in again and got out to help Gemma into the car. I got into the car and told Gemma that we were going to go to Jules's house for a Christmas party. She squealed and squirmed with giggles. Jules talked to Gemma the entire ride to his house about how she had been and how her doctor skills were going. Gemma proudly reported on how she had fixed Stacy the dolls arm and helped when her best friend Candy had fallen over and grazed her knee. When we pulled onto a long dirt road with very few houses spread around Jules apologized for the long ride and laughed when Gemma asked him if he really lived in the country on a farm, he tried to explain that he did live a little bit in the country but that he didn't live on a farm, he just had a very big back yard. We turned onto a dirt road lined with small bushes and at the end was a very big house, very big.

Gemma jaw dropped "You live in a castle!" she squealed. Jules shruged then pulled the car into a parking spot. There were a lot of cars lining the massive front yard; a lot more than I expected. We walked to front door and Jules opened it and walked strait in without knocking. When we got inside I saw why he didn't bother the music was turned up extremely loud and laughter filled the house. There are so many people here, when Jules said there would be lots I did not expect this many. The rooms were filled with people all talking, chattering, dancing and laughing.  Jules tried to take us to back yard navigating his way through the groups of people sometimes to be stopped by a man or two that paeted him on the back and a lady who gave him a big hug and two massive kisses on each cheek before she started squealing at him in another language. He noded and then continued to try and pull us through the crowd. When we finally reached the backyard there were almost just as many kids out side as there was people inside. The kids ranged from ages 12 to little babies and toddlers. A few ladies stood near a big sandpit chattering in yet another language and a little girl ran from the sand pit,

"Jules!" she screamed. He smiled and picked her up before turning to Gemma,

"Sabina this is Gemma. Gemma this is Sabina my little sister." He put Sabina down next to Gemma and they shyly muttered a hello before Sabina asked if Gemma wanted to play in the sandpit with her. Gemma smiled and happily obliged, Sabina took her by the arm and they ran to the pit. When they got there kids that had been watching us while we stood came rushing from every corner of the yard to Gemma and Sabina. Sabina introduced them all one by one. There were so many kids. I turned to Jules with wide eyes

"How can she remember all their names!"  He shrugged

"We see them all the time, I know everyone in there" he gestured to the house and my eyes widened.

"That's crazy!" I exclaimed and he started laughing

"Hey, I warned you there were going to be a lot of people." He took me by the hand and walked me back into the house. He lead me back through the crowd and to the bottom of a stair case where we were stopped by a man calling out his name. He stopped and cursed before turning around.

"Yes dad," I turned around eager to see what this kids dad looked like and my mouth dropped. Coming towards us in casual dress pants and a light blue shirt was Dr. Evans. He stopped and gave me a big smile.

"Are you going to introduce me to your friend Jules." I tear my eyes away from Dr. Evans to Jules he looked at the ground and then to me.

"Sammy this is my father Dr. Marcus Evans, Dad this is Sammy." Dr. Evans smile widened and he looked me in the eye nodding,

'It's nice to finally meet you Sammy, I've heard a lot about you from Jules and please call me Marc," I nodded completely lost for words. Dr. Evans the man that was standing in my small broken home helping my mother only a week ago was Jules's farther. Had he told Jules about that night? Did Jules know it was me if he had? The man that Gemma looked up to and had become her hero was Jules's farther! Jules turned on his heels and grabbed my wrist to pull me up the stairs.

"Don't let him push you around Sammy" Marc called winking at me and I knew that he knew who I was. Jules tugged at my wrist and I followed him up the stairs. People lined the stair case too and the hallways on the second floor as well. He took me to another stair case that lead to yet another floor where there were no other people but us and lead me down the hall. Every so often we would pass a door that had a name on it like Felix, Cassius, Aeliana, Antonia, Camilla and plenty more. When we pass a door titled Sabina I started to get the feeling that these might be his brothers and sisters bedrooms. At the end of the hallway was a door marked with Jules and I tried to hold back a smirk.

"What?" he laughed. I shook my head and gestured for him to get on with it. He lead me into his room. It was small room with white walls, wooden floors and a small desk with a few school books piled on top. A large window took up most of the back wall. Under it was a large day bed with dark blue sheets and matching blue pillows.

"You like it?" he asked putting a hand on my back. I looked at him with wide eyes.

"You have the audacity to say that to me!" I laughed and he joined me.

"Why did you bring me here?" I asked tentatively. He shruged and turned to face me,

"I just didn't want to be down stairs" he smiled and I looked away. My cheeks burned from the thoughts of what we could do up here alone in his bedroom. Beside me was a book shelf that I hadn't realised was there when we first walked in. I turned my back to Jules to face the shelf. He didn't have many books but he had books all the same. I jumped when I felt his arms slowly wrap around my waist from behind. I had no clue what to do so I just stayed where I was as he hugged me tighter to his body sending shivers up my spine. He buried his head into my neck pulling away a few loose strands of hair before slowly kissing the bare neck he had uncovered. I sighed and slowly tried to turn around to face him. He quickly approved pulling me back into a tight squeeze when I was facing him. I looked into his eyes and he loosened his grip.

"Sorry. I just..." He said but I shut him up before he could say anything else. I kissed him slowly and lightly at first but he soon pressed his lips to mine harder, running his tongue along my bottom lip threatening to make my legs jelly underneath him. I pulled away and he lightly pushed me towards his bed, I sat down as he towered over me.

"You're stunning you know that rite?" he asked. I blushed looking away from him and out the window. He took my face in his hands and turned me to face him.

"Don't ever stop looking at me; I want to see your face." He remarked leaning down to kiss me on the forehead.

"We really have to talk about this kissing thing you're starting to do it often." I say staring at his blue eyes. He laughed lightly,

"Do we need to talk about something we already know the answer to?" I smiled and stood up only to be gently pushed back down onto the bed and have Jules crawl on top of me and kiss my forehead. I laughed a little to myself how did he do this so smoothly.
