Wind rushes around my face
Piercing through my thoughts, echoing through my mind
Rough waters sway our unsteady boat
I grasp to the rickety railing for dear life
The foreboding sea calls upon me
Howling, the storm overcomes my being
I grasp- tighter, tighter
Then come to realize there was never anything to hold
My fingers slip through the air
I am cast to the waves
Water fill my lungs
I try to scream
Save me
I try so hard
Save me
I gave it all I had
Save me
from myself
Save me
from you and your ongoing storm
