Dehydrated

Lips once soft and sweet as honey
Have chapped and bittered of thirst
For quite a while, it has been lonely
However, dehydrated, a woman wouldn't notice at first

In pursuit of water
She neglected drink
Now desperation seems to have caught her
As she struggles to think

Grain by grain, she is engulfed by sand
Walking into her casket
For there is no end to this desolate land
As she had water, but departed without it
