Third person POV

Let's have a quick recap of the situation, of where we left of. Tyler and (Y/n) left of at a sore point. Leo and (Y/n) have no direction in where the Hades their heading, baby Mateo arrives at Camp Half-Blood, and we left him in infirmary, so let's pick from there.

It was the evening of December 6th, Mateo hadn't been claimed yet, (Y/n) and Percy were getting ready for the dinner with (Y/n)'s parents tomorrow, Leo was in cabin nine, talking to Jason, and Nico and Will watched Mateo fall asleep. "Can we trust the poor kid in the hands of the Hermes kids?" Will said to Nico with concern.

"Do you even have to ask me that?" Nico said not taking his gaze off the baby.

"How about Leo? He seemed pretty attached to Mateo?" Will suggested again.

"I don't trust the kid, especially with small children. But I do have a person in mind." Will turned to look at his boyfriend.

"(Y/n). She's taken care of the younger ones before, so put the baby in cabin three until he gets claimed?"

"That seemed reasonable, only problem, she hasn't spoken a single word to anyone today, it apparently started today? Anyways, she and Percy have to agree, since their both share the cabin." Nico looked at Will quizzically as if his cousin going mute was news to him. And it was.

"Don't worry, just make sure cabin three is ready, I'll talk some sense into her. She's done this before, trust me, I got this." And as soon as he said that, Nico shadow traveled away leaving Will and the baby alone.

(Y/n) sat quietly (like she had been all day) on her bunk, watching Percy trying to select a reasonable choice of clothes for the dinner with her parents tomorrow. "Help me!" He helped as he threw every pair of clothing item he had on the floor. She rolled her eyes and texted him. She had been doing this since this morning, but she only texted Percy.

(Y/n): Perce, go to cabin 10, they'll help you, besides, dress like trash for all I care, my mom will hate you because you're related to dad and she hates dad now.

Percy looked up from his phone, confused.

Percy: Wth? I don't wanna go to the Aphrodite girls, they'll tear me apart!

(Y/n): well I'm no help to you so... and tell Leo to stop coming to our cabin every hour to 'check up' on me

Percy put his phone away, sighing. "No. I won't say that to him, if his bothering you, open that little mouth of yours and scream for all I care, just talk." He huffed and went back to scrounging for clothes.

(Y/n)'s POV

I decide to go on a walk around camp, since Percy had decided to be a diva in distress and worry about his clothes and what his hair looked like, should they have a theme?! He went a bit loco, so I needed some air. It felt a bit weird not talking to anyone. I don't really put much thought into where I'm going, just let my feet guide me, and get lost in my own thoughts. I feel my feet touch something cold suddenly and I look down to see the edge of the water, and the soft sand crushed beneath my feet. I slowly back away from the water, shuddering. For a daughter of Poseidon, I was an usual child. I had a fear so stupid no one could understand. I was afraid of the water. I knew I couldn't drown, or ever get hurt since that was my fathers domain, but I didn't like the fact that I didn't know what was under my feet. The fact that I couldn't see beneath the murky liquid made me anxious. The fact the water had no limit of how deep and far in went. The infinite water. I crash back on the sand, taking in the smell of the sea. My phone buzzed in my pocket. I take it out to see who texted me, but only to be a bit surprised. Tyler Ravenscar. What on earth could Tyler want right now?
