Chapter Eighteen || Clueless Desperation

Leo's POV

I lay in my bed, unable to sleep. Every time I shut my eyes, I could only see one person, (Y/n). I could hear her laughter echoing in my mind. I put my hands over my ears to block the sound out, but nothing helped. She was haunting me. It had been two days since she had gone, meaning today was 11th December. It was around two in the morning, when I decided to go on a walk. I walk past the cabins, and stop outside cabin three. My heart beat fastens, my stomach twist, my eyes burn. I hear the door open making me panic, so I catch on fire. "Leo?" I hear Percy say groggily. "What are you doing? Get in!" I don't argue but nod silently following Percy in. "Can you sleep?"
"No! Every time I shit my eyes I see (Y/n)!"
"I keep having nightmares about (Y/n). She keeps calling out my name but it's coming from everywhere and then she screams and everything fell silent..." Percy ran his hands through his hair, sighing as he dropped onto his bunk.
"Percy..." I say, not taking my eyes off the window. I could see a little piece of paper stuck to it.
"What Leo?" He said looking up. I walk over to the paper, snatching the note from the window. I read it out loud.

I see your distress Valdez. Jackson, good to see you again, at least this time I can finally finish you, without anything getting in my way. Tick tock boys, find me before you find (Y/n).

P.S, I'll give you another clue because I'm nice. 5 & 10.

"Five and ten? What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Percy says as soon as I finish.
"We need to get this to Chiron." I shove the note in my pocket.
"This person is no help whatsoever, there are too many people, gods, monsters that want to kill me. The list is too long and we don't have the time." He growled. He breathed deeply, and opened the cabin door. Before I could do anything, Percy took off, sprinting towards the woods. I couldn't exactly yell at him to come back so I ran after him.

(Y/n)'s POV

I wake up in a dark place. Was cabin three always this dark? My head hurt as if I'd bashed it into a million walls. The ground beneath me felt soft, I felt my surroundings, trying to figure out where I was. "Percy?" I call out into the darkness. "If this is a prank, can you stop now, you're scaring me!" I hear a rough laugh coming from all around, echoing in my head. I grab my head, hoping it'd stop.
"You're little saviour of Olympus won't come to save you now girly..." a voice said. It had an edge to it, it came from everywhere so I couldn't locate where it was. I felt the thing I was sitting on. A bed, I guessed. I looked for the edge, and when I located it, I tried to stand up, but the voice spoke again.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you, unless you want to fall into deeper darkness." I put my foot down to feel nothing beneath it. I feel something grab my foot making me scream. The voice laughs again, a cold harsh laugh. "Let her go Rufus." The voice commands and 'Rufus' lets go of my foot making me scramble back quickly.
"What is this place?" I whisper to myself.
"Your new home..." I could hear the voice fade away, and I couldn't feel it's presence anymore.

Percy's POV

I ran into the woods, I didn't know where I was going, but I'd seen someone run there when Leo was reading the note. I could've sworn I saw someone outside. I hear twinges snap in front of me. But I heard Leo call out my name from behind me. I push harder, trying to push this person to bunker nine. Strangely, they were heading that way. The bunker was straight ahead, but I could t see the figure anymore. I stop dead in my tracks, looking around. Leo stops beside me, panting. He opens his mouth but I shush him. "Leo... fire..." I say slowly. Leo sets himself on fire, and I could see writing on the trees.

What did that have to with anything? I felt like we had a 2 pieces of the puzzle but this was a 1000 piece puzzle. We needed the whole gang to work this one out. We only took two steps forward but one step back. I needed to find my sister and the asshole that took her, even if that was the last thing I do.
