The Stalker

Chapter 5

My heart dropped. I turned around to face the person who yelled "HEY!" I felt relief, but also anger when I realized I was looking at my best friend, Will. I couldn't believe he would sneak up like that! I could've smacked him... But I didn't. I was really angry, but I was more relieved.

Will and I hung out for a couple of hours. He has been away because his dad had "issues." I think that's why I didn't recognize his voice when he yelled. I honestly couldn't be mad at him.... I haven't seen him in like months so I didn't want to be mad. Sometimes I wish Will never left, he was my best friend. Yes I have Alicia, but Will was there when I needed him and he only knew the right thing to say.

That night was a good night. Thankfully. The next day, Alicia came over and was going to spend the night, and we went on a walk. We walked in the woods because I really wanted to tell her about my stalker. She would be the only person that wouldn't tell my parents if I asked her to.

We got like thirty minutes into the woods and then I got the feeling. I instantly looked around, but saw nothing. A minute passed and we both heard leaves crunch and a limb snap. The café guy was there and had fallen down. He saw us look dead at him, then he started chasing us. We ran as quickly as possible towards the house. When we got home she started with the questioning. Who was he? Did you know him? What does he want? I wish I had answers so I just told her what I knew.

The next day, Alicia and I had planned to go to the movies. I was hesitant because of what has been happening, but she acted like nothing happened yesterday. She practically dragged me to the movies. I had a bad feeling. I really bad feeling.

We were at the movies and no sign of him. We got our tickets and popcorn and went into the theater. The movie was good. And I actually wasn't worried. After the movie Alicia had to go to the bathroom. I didn't so I waited outside the ladies bathroom door. And then that's when it happened. That's when my life changed.
