The maze cafe

Hey ppl this is the first one shot I have ever done this one shot is based on the pic above. so I hope you enjoy

Thomas POV
I walked into the maze cafe weird name I know. The walls are pink with green tables and black and white tiles on the ground
I walked over to the white counter. "Hey Teresa"
"Hey Tom how are you" Teresa said over a group of laughing people beside us. They all seemed to be laughing at a boy with his head on the table.

"You seem busy" I stated looking back at Teresa. "Yeah they came in a few minutes before you. What you want your usual" she asked already starting to make my latte with one sugar and a blueberry muffin.

"Yeah thanks" I looked back at the group. I recognised the group from around my college.

There was an Asian boy with really good looking hair. Across from him was a guy with dirty blonde hair and some really crazy eyebrows. Beside him was a girl with short brown hair and brown eyes.

Thomas would've fallen for her there and than if he didn't swing for the other team. He told his parents last year and they were perfectly fine with it and he told Teresa last month and she jumped for joy when she could finally have someone to talk with about boys.

Last but not least the boy looked up and I swore I lost my breath. The boy had perfect olive skin and magnificent blonde hair and his eyes his eyes are the perfect shade of brown he could have stared at him all day if it wasn't for Teresa

"See someone you like" Teresa said with her hand resting under her chin smiling with my latte and muffin beside him "what N-no shut up Teresa" I stuttered and blushed I handed her the money and went to his usual table in the back be the window.

I took my laptop out of my bag and opened and started doing my assignment for English. I was just about to start when I herd the chair across from me move. I looked up thinking it was Teresa but I was so wrong.

Across from me was the beautiful boy I was drooling over.
"Hey" OMG his accent is so sexy
"Hi" I answered back
"I'm Newt" Newt stuck out his hand for me to shake
"Thomas" I took his hand to shake. As soon as are hands touched I felt sparks go through my body.

"I know this seems really weird and I don't usually do this but my friends are making me do this and I'm rambling on so I'm going to shut up and ask you" Newt quickly said looking down at his cup.
I chuckled at his cuteness "so um would you eh like to umm go on a date" Newt looked up at me with a blush on his face. I could feel a blush rise onto my cheeks.

I couldn't believe it Newt the boy he was just thinking about was asking him on a date.

"Em yeah sure definitely" I said tripping over my words. Newt giggled "ok so how about Friday night at eight and we can meet up here"
"Sounds like a plan" I answered back.
Newt was about to say something when we herd someone shouting over to us

"Come on Newt we gotta go you can see your lover boy later" the Asian boy called over to us

Newt blushed and got up "I have to go I'll see you Friday night" he came closer and kissed my cheek and ran to his friends who were cat calling over at us.

I sat at the table and looked up at Teresa who was giving me a thumbs up
'Wow I can't believe that happened' I thought while getting up from my seat and going home to finish my assignment.
