Newt's POV
"So I heard that you and Thomas go to the same school?" Thomas' mother Amy asked me.

We had all sat down for dinner. My mother and me on one side of the table and Thomas and his mother on the other side and my father at the top of the table.

"Yes mrs Edison we do. We're in the same year as well." I smiled at her but on the inside I was physically cringing as this dinner is going painfully slow. It's also not helping that Thomas keeps staring at me like he's going to attack me. I don't even know what I did to the guy.

"Really Thomas you never told me that you two we're in the same year" Thomas' mother looked over at him.

"Yeah well you never asked" Thomas mumbled at his mother a bit harshly.

After that comment we all sat in awkward silence until my mother looked up at me and said
"Newt why don't you and Thomas go up to your room for a while, while we talk to Amy."

This was my mother's way of saying 'get out of here' so who was I to rebel against her words.

"Me yeah ok let's go Tommy" I said kinda scared of what was going to happen when I was alone with Thomas.

We both stood up from the table and made are way up to my room. I was hoping this wasn't going to be awkward.

We both entered my room Thomas walked in first and looked around it. By now I was mentally cursing myself for having so many books in my room.

I closed the door behind me and was about to speak up when I felt myself being slammed up against the door.

I opened my eyes to see Thomas's face inches away from mine.

"W-w-what are you doing" I stuttered while looking at Thomas.

I stared at his beautiful brown eyes he smelt slightly of cigarette smoke and his normal cologne 'I am so dead hes going to kill me.'

I opened my mouth to say something when he cut me off. "you know you have beautiful eyes" he whispered his breath tickling my neck.

I felt heat make its way to my neck and across my cheeks "thank you" I stuttered god I hate when I do that.

All of a sudden I saw Thomas's face go slightly red and he backed away from me, He sat on my bed and groaned.

"Ugh I can't do this" He said into his hands.

I slowly made my way over to the bed and hesitantly sat beside him. "What can't you do" I asked timidly.

"This try to make you fall for me when all I do when I see you is become a red bubbling mess" He shouted out at me making me jump all of a sudden.

'Wait a minuet did he just.'

Thomas looked like he froze realising what he just said.

All of a sudden he turned and looked at me and took a deep breath probably trying calm himself down. He looked down at his hands

"Ha sorry your probably disgusted with me who am I kidding you probably don't even swing that way. I'll just leave." He got up to leave. This made me break out of my thoughts.

Before he could open the door I called out. "What makes you think I don't swing that way." I stood up from my bed and started to walk over to him. His back still facing me.

"Who said I was disgusted" I was now standing behind him taking a deep breath 'don't chicken out now Newt.'

"And what makes you think you have to make me fall" with a ounce of courage I had I wrapped my arms around his waist. I felt him tense but the next group of words I say relieves him of all the tension in his body.

"What makes you think I haven't all ready fallen for you"

He turns around making me let go of his waist instead of pushing me away which is what I thought he was going to do. He placed his hands on my waist and pulled me closer to his body so our chests are touching.

The sudden movement caught me off guard so I wrapped my arms around his neck to steady myself.

"Your not just saying that are you?"

"I would never lie to you" and with that he pulled me in for a kiss.

'Finally this bad boy is mine' I thought during the kiss.
