Newt's POV

'Last class I can do this' I thought looking at the clock. There was 5 minuets left of class then I was home free. But 5 minuets felt like an eternity.

I looked out of the window that was beside me. It was a beautiful day outside not a cloud to be seen.

I started thinking about how nice it will be to walk in this weather as my older brother Gally couldn't pick me up today as he has a meeting.

Next thing I heard the bell ring and the teacher dismissing us from his class.

"Have a great weekend guys" he called as I was walking out the door.

On my way to my locker to put the books that I didn't need over the weekend I bumped into my crazy brunette -haired friend.

"Hey Newt" she said hugging me

"Hey Brenda we still on for are doctor who marathon later tonight" I asked her as we walked up to my locker and put my books into it.

"Yeah definitely I'll be straight over after my computers club which starts" she stopped to look at her watch "in 5 minuets shit!! I'll see you later bitch gotta fly"

I waved to her and she was gone in a flash. 'She's crazy but you gotta love her' I thought shaking my head.

I closed my locker and started making my way to the entrance of the school. As I was walking I started thinking of what I had to do before Brenda came over.

As I got to the entrance I started to hear the pitter patter of rain falling.

'You have got to be kidding me it was sunny like 10 minuets ago' I thought looking outside the doors to see the rain that was getting heavier be the minute.

"And of course it's the one day I didn't bring my jacket" I mumbled to myself.

While talking to myself I didn't hear someone come out of the building.

"Hey your Newt right?" They asked me making me jump from surprise.

I turned to look at the person and I gasped at who it was.

Standing in front of me was only Thomas Edison the kindest and most beautiful person in my year. With his beautiful brunette hair that was styled to perfection and his porcelain skin.

"Yeah I am" I finally said after looking into his deep chocolate colored eyes for a while.

"I know this is going to sound crazy but me and a few of my friends are hanging out this weekend and I was wondering well if you know wanted to hang out with us" he asked me going slightly red.

I couldn't believe it was Thomas blushing because of me?

"Yeah sure emm here" I grabbed his arm and grabbed a pen from my back pocket and wrote my number on his arm.

"Text me the time and place" I smiled at him.

"Yeah cool well I guess I'll see you soon" he turned to leave putting up an umbrella and walked out into the rain.

'Lucky' I thought looking at his umbrella wishing I brought one with me today.

I was about to walk out of the door bracing myself to feel the cold drops on my skin when Thomas turned back and walked back towards me.

"Hey I couldn't help but notice you don't have a jacket" he handed his umbrella over to me and smiled.

"You need it more then I do" he put his hood up "Well I'll see you over the weekend Newt" and with that he ran into the rain and disappeared from me sight.

Thinking about what just happened I blushed 'I'm in love' I thought.

I ran off home with only one thing on my mind.
