Present time...

Amelia's POV

I stir awake and turn to see Weston still sleeping. It's been exhausting with the new puppy, but last night was perfect! Jayla only had to get up once, AND went back to sleep. We're currently crate training her, and it's going pretty well... except for the fact that she's slept with us five times already. Including Jordan... which did not go very well.

I decide to get up and go let Jordan and Jayla run around in the fake grass. I'd like to move back to Ohio in a few years, get a home there and settle down. But, it must have lots of land for Jayla and Jordan to run around in!

Weston and I have been going pretty well... I'm still in shock. I thought I lost him, but he's now living in my apartment. It's kind of weird though... he has never actually asked me to be his girlfriend. I know, it's dumb. But, I feel like everyone is just assuming it even though he's never asked me. YES WE HAVE A FREAKING PUPPY TOGETHER AND HAS BEEN LIVING AT MY APARTMENT FOR THE PAST FIVE MONTHS, BUT HES NEVER ASKED IT!!

Anyway, I plan on getting some work done today, as I've been pretty behind on my work. I've just been busy with Jayla and Weston... ya know? But, Weston is taking me out on a date tonight to one of the fanciest places in town. Thankfully, I have a dress I've been saving for this special occasion.

Okay, maybe just a little overboard but hey! Go big or go home!

I just finished getting ready for the night, and I was about to show Weston. I walk out to see him standing there waiting for me.

"Whoa," he says in shock. I laugh.

"Maybe this is a little too much?" I question.

He skates his head. "Oh gosh no, you look amazing!"

I smile. "Why you don't look that back yourself!"

The food on the menu was ridiculous! I couldn't believe the prices they were at.

"No way you're paying for all of this!" I say.

"It's all about you tonight Amelia, I've got it. You've haven't had a day off from the puppies in forever! Don't worry about it!"

I smile. He always knows how to make my day. Ugh, I don't deserve him.

I end up ordering something with sushi, but I'm not sure how to pronounce it. I wanted to order a mac and cheese, but I don't feel like it would fit the occasion.

We finish up eating and Weston takes me to the beach.

"Oh! This is ridiculous Wes!" I state. "We look so dumb out here is fancy clothing!"

He laughs. "Just pretend they're in underwear! Now who are the stupid ones?"

"That doesn't help..."

"Well... then just pretend it's you and me. Being goofy!"

I look at his big smile and laugh. He's adorable, honestly.

After a few minutes of weird looks and holding hands, he stops us.

"I'm so dumb..." he says.

"No you're not!" I say back.

"No wonder you've been distant lately!"

I start laughing. "What?! When have I've ever been distant!"

He then faces me and grabs my waist. "Amelia, will you be my girlfriend?"

I look up and smile. "About time?"

"I'm dumb."

"I know you are. But you're my dummy."

"So... that's a yes?"

I put my arms around his neck. "Of course."

"Oh, just kiss me already!"

||Hey! So not the best that I can do, but for what it's worth, IVE BEEN SOOO BUSY ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY! But luckily, I have my last game tomorrow and then I'm done with everything! I can't wait to write more, and I have lots of more ideas that I've thought of! XOXO||
