Ledrin had expected this boy to lose his intelligence when he mentioned his sister. So of course, he had a plan.
"You dare oppose me, small one!" He towered over Chronos, who shrank back in fear. Only then did he realise how intimidating the wizard was.

Ledrin was 7ft tall, with sharp blue eyes of fire. His grey hair fell below his waist merging in with his beard which fell even further. The wrinkles on his face gave the impression of knowledge and wisdom whilst the dark lilac cloak he wore showed signs of magic being used to create it as every now and then, silver, red and gold sparks would bounce out from within.

"Listen here," Ledrin said to Chronos, who nodded without making a sound." I said your sister doesn't exist. I was going to say that she didn't exist in your world because she was taken out of the timestream."
"I'm sorry - uhh Ledrin wasn't it - for interrupting you." Chronos really meant this as he knew that the warlock wanted to help him."I just really love my sister and for you to say something like that, well it just really set me off."
"Quite understandable," Ledrin sympathised. With alarming speed, he was in front of Chronos with a finger on his forehead. "Tranpui tothod!" he chanted. "There now you have some magic yourself."
" Really? What can I do with it?" inquired Chronos.
"Point at that decayed wall on the right with your index finger and say "desobli"."

Chronos aimed at the wall and murmured the words. He gasped as a string of electricity flew from his fingers and disintigrated the wall. There was nothing left but ashes. Chronos was a human-wizard hybrid. Who would've thought? Slowly, he turned to face Ledrin, who looked quite smug. He conjured up a berserk fire in his palm. It illuminated the cold chamber, and for some reason gave hope to Chronos.

"Continuing from before, to save your sister, we must meet up with a certain few of my friends as I alone will not be able to open up a portal strong enough to make it to wherever your sister has been taken." Ledrin looked at his plain wrist (warlocks have no need for actual watches), startled at how late it was.
" Here's a paper with a date, time and place for us to meet," rushed Ledrin as he handed over the paper." I will need to send you back to your own dimension and time. Remember, sing this if you ever need me in an emergency:

Ledrin, Ledrin, where are you,
I need you now so come
Quick and true
From the village of Pottytown,
The planet of Earthworld,
The time of magic,
Dying will be tragic,
Ledrin of Pottytown, please come here
I'll even award you a glass of beer!"

"P-Pottyt-town!" giggled Chronos. Ledrin sighed. This boy would never learn.
"Could you go over that again, I don't really remember it?" asked Chronos 3 minutes later.

It took 5 rounds of the poem for Chronos to finally memorise it. Even then, whenever he read it, he just broke out into fits of laughter.
"I'll be going then," said Ledrin pompously.
"One more thing, how did you bring me here?" Chronos awaited an answer with anticipation.
"That you will find out in due course." And with a single swish of his sleek cloak, Ledrin was gone; so was Chronos.
