Chronos was ready for impact when a voice spoke to him.
"Hello indeed," it said. Suddenly, the air stopped rushing past him as a floaty sensation overcame Chronos. Slowly, he glided down.
"Wha- what?" stammered Chronos, lifting his shivering head from the dusty soil.
"You were falling so I set a spell on you. If you want I could just reverse time so you die." The mysterious voice chuckled under his breath." I am Soral. And I know Ledrin, if that interests you."
"You're Ledrin's friend?" gasped Chronos. Half in surprise, half to catch his breath.
"Indeed I am! How about we go over to him right now?"
"Ok. I hope he's alright..." Chronos trailed off in worry. They waddled over to the west, where Ledrin was standing upright, dusting the dust off himself. His face wore an agitated expression.
"Your alive!" he shouted "I thought you were going to die..."
"Well now you owe me even more gold." said Soral.
"Soral! What are you doing here?" asked Ledrin.
"I heard that you needed some help so I used my tracker spell to locate you. Lucky I did or your friend would be dead," Commented Soral. "Who is he anyway?"
Chronos looked up and said," Thank you for saving me. I am Chronos Orion, a human from Earth."
"A human..." Soral looked quite delighted as he thought of all the things he could teach Chronos. He would be a major inspiration for the kid. While Ledrin informed Soral of the rise of the kolds, Chronos experimented with his magic. He found that usually, he would just get a puff of smoke but if he enveloped his mind wih darkness, a purple sphere the size of a pea would materialise in his hands. Soon, Soral was prepared for the journey of finding the other members of the fellowship. Their next member was hidden away in the mines of Montre, where many materials such as finalsilver, the strongest and most rare type of silver, were available. There was a catch, however. Deep in the mines, a creature called Everol existed. It was said that it had power to rival even 10 wizards attacking at the same time.
The trio set of into the forest of Irles, a place with trees so thick that it was completely dark on the inside. Chronos began suspecting that the trees were talking. Noises could be heard every now and then, passing deep into the hazy woods. No living creature ever came out of the forest unscathed. A simple thing like ripping a leaf of a branch could result in death.
The woods were alive and would stop anyone from harming it.

Finally, chapter 7 is done. So I really hope that this is up to scratch and if you wood like me to branch out and make a horror story too, I will. If not I will leaf it alone. Chapter 8 will hopefully be OaK.
Liked all the tree puns? Please comment as it will motivate me to keep going. For real, do you want a horror story too?
Well that's enough from me so bye.~Zero543
