Chapter 7-Red Flame

When I went out of bathroom, I was feeling much calmer. I even felt strength. I missed Tess. My home without her laugh, talk and naivety was empty. I guess I would see her soon, because Jerry was going to take me to the academy soon, but before that I needed to talk to someone, not Alex, not my mother, I couldn't take more lies! I took my phone and went in the contacts, when I found the one I was looking for I called.

-Lisa? Is that you?-Victoria asked me.

-Yes Tor! It's me! How are you?

-I'm fine, but where are you? Why are you skipping lessons?

-Listen Tor! Can you come here? I want to talk to you.

-Yeah, what's wrong?

-I'll tell you everything, when you come. You know my address, don't you?

-Yeah, I'll be there in 15!

Thinking about Tori's coming made me happier. I took on my clothes and lay down. I was thinking about everything: Me. Tori. Alex. The Blue Sign... I went downstairs after a while.  My mother and Jerry were discussing something. Alex was sitting on the sofa.

-Lisa! I'm glad you came here-Mother told me.

I didn't reply. I just turned the TV on and sat on the arm-chair, because I didn't want to sit beside Alex. After a while the doorbell finally rang! I jumped up and opened the door. Tori was standing on the door threshold. Her hair was tousled because of wind, she seemed worried.

-Hey Tori! I'm very glad that you came!-I told her happily and then hugged her. She smiled widely. I let her inside. Everyone was staring at us.

-Hello Mrs. Adams, hi, Alex!-Tori said, then she asked me who Jerry was with her eyes. I rolled my eyes.

-Hey, Victoria, how are you?-Alex asked her.

-Thanks, I'm fine, you?-Victoria replied.

Alex didn't answer her. We went in my room.

-Lisa! What's wrong with you? I know, that I just met you, but I can surely say, that something's wrong with you-Tori asked me with an anxious voice.

-That what I want to talk about, but before that, but before that, you have to promise me, that you won't say anything! It's so serious!

-You are scaring me!

-Just promise!

-Fine, I promise!

-At first, look at my forehead!

-Yeah, I noticed that before. Why do you all have that blue rohmb? Are you celebrating something?

-No, Tori! It's real!-I told her and started telling my story. Tori was astonished.

-What???-She asked me.

-Everything I told you is true.

-Oh my god!-I saw fear in her eyes.

-Tori, please! I know it's strange, I know it's crazy, but you are the only one, with whom I want to talk. I want someone, beside me. I can't take it anymore!-I started crying invluntarily.

-Oh, Lisa! Of course, I won't leave you! I'm so sorry, that you had to deal with so much.-She hugged me.

-Thanks Tori!-Somehow I just coudn't say more than that.

-And what about Alex?-She asked me after a while.

-I don't even want to hear his name. He was lying to me so long, just because of his stupid mission. He exchanged me for some privilegies.-I said angrily.
