I throw my wallet and phone at them.
"Take everything."
"Ouch!" says one of the guys, who just happens to look like a Calvin Clein model.
"We don't want your money, or your phone" he says.
I look down at my phone, with it's bright pink fluffy case. My cheeks go red.
"We want to know about Cameron."
"Why?" I snap.
"Just Gang business."
Shit just clicks into place.
I think about all the subtle hints Cameron. How could I be so blind?
"Mr. Kidnapper, can I have some water?"
"No." Says the Calvin Clein model.
Another guy, just as hot, turns to him.
"We may be kidnapping her, but she still needs to stay properly hydrated"
"Fine." He replies, reluctantly.
I cross my legs as he brings a glass of water. He gives me a grin before turning around.
"Let's get on with the questions." He says, breaking the silence,
"Sure."
"Did Cameron go out much?"
"All the time, but he never said where."
"Did you ever catch him taking drugs?"
"God no!" I spit. "Have you?"
"Anyways, has he been acting out of the ordinary in any way?"
"No."
He raises an eyebrow and turns to the other guy.
"Must be a good actor" he mumbles.
"Has he told about anything?"
"Nope."
"This is hopeless." He interrupts, putting his paper down. "She doesn't have any information."
"I guess you're right. Maybe we should just let her go."
He spins to me.
"Come on, we're taking you back"
"Awwww, but I was just getting used to being kidnapped."
"Can you be ready in 5 minutes?"
"I'll be there."I get my phone and hop in the car. We drive for what feels like hours. Just the two of us.
"You can't talk about any of this, ok?"
"What if I do?"
"I'll poison your food."
I gulp.
He rolls his eyes.
"Just don't do it."
We drive up to my house.
"How do you know my address?"
"Oh, just a website."
"What do you mean 'just a-"
But before I can finish my sentence the black Mercedes drives off."Where were you?" A voice demands.
"Cameron, I-"
"They took you, didn't they?"
I nod.
"Well now you know."
"Tell me what it's like!" I jump up, a little too excitedly.
"No. You already know enough. The more you know, the more questions they can ask you when they put you under a lie detector. If you don't know, when they hook you up to a machine, you can give an honest answer."I try to process everything thing that just happened.
"I'm sorry about what happened." He adds. "You shouldn't have to take the consequences for my actions."
And he walks away.I walk into the house and go onto my porch. I look down at the street. I see a small figure and bend over.
Cameron?
He's sitting there crying.
----------------------------------------------
Awww, Cameron feels bad about his actions. Maybe next time he'll think twice about JOINING A FREAKING GANG. Sorry, I had to let that out.
Anyways, does anyone have recommendations on Netflix? Just finished a good show called 'shitt's creek'.
I kind of wish Liv's kidnapper was a bit more harsh. A scary scene maybe. Yeh, I guess the kidnappper (aka Calvin Clein model) is just a big ol' softy.
Love ya'll🌺
