Komaeda's POV

I watched as Hajime prepared himself to tell his story. He took a deep breath and looked us all straight into our eyes. "There's one reason that I'm alive right now. And that is because of my brother. Izuru Kamakura. The person I despise most in the world." At that sentence, Fuyuhiko stood up, punching my coffeetable and breaking it. He walked over to Hajime, grabbing him by the collar. Hajime went from extremely intimidating to immeasurably terrified in a matter of seconds.

Suddenly, Fuyuhiko punched the other boy in the face. Hard. Hajime broke free of Fuyuhiko's grasp, crying, a large mark on his face where he was punched as he ran for the front door. I was staring in disbelief until then. I ran after him and the others stayed back to try and calm down Fuyuhiko.

I saw Hajime struggling with the locked door, repeating the phrase, "What did I do?" over and over again. I put my hand on his shoulder and he jumped and yelped quietly. He turned back to me and I noticed his face was already swelling once. Damn... Fuyuhiko didn't even try to hold back.

"What did I... d-do..?'' He sniffed a few times, still crying.  I shook my head a bit, looking him right in the eyes. "It wasn't your fault. Fuyuhiko just has some unpleasant memories of his sibling who he loved dearly," I explained. Hajime's eyes widened. He pushed past me and strted walking back, me following promptly.

As we walked back into my living room, everything was calm. Hajime hesitantly walked up to Fuyuhiko before bowing deeply. "I'm sorry..." Everyone just stared in disbelief. What did he have to be sorry for? He didn't do anything. Though, Fuyuhiko didn't either. He could've held back, I suppose...

Fuyuhiko looked completely taken aback by Hajime's sudden apology. This definitely wasn't my Hajime. But, that's beside the point. "Uhm..." Fuyuhiko started. "Why are you sorry? I should be the one who's sorry!" Hajime immediately shot up, eyes wide. "B-But.... aren't you mad at me?" He seemed so... surprised. Well, at this point, all five of us were far past surprised.

"Why in the hell would I be mad at you?'' Fuyuhiko asked. Hajime looked down to the ground, his face contorted. It seemed that he was trying to figure out why Fuyuhiko wasn't mad at him...?

What the hell did Izuru do to my Hajime?
